i would've preferred another midfielder or 2, our core midfield is a gattuso mVb and seedorf. i also hope that aquilani can blow everybody away, he's getting called up for italy so that should help in restoring his confidence.

what i'd like to see this season is for milan to be playing much better football, based on the ground. i can understand last season where allegri wanted to implement a structured formation that didn't care much for aesthetics, after such a barren run [without trophies] you sometimes have to go back to the basics to start winning games. but i'd like to see allegri evolve as a manager and begin to implement more technical players into the starting XI. i'm sick of this boot this ball upto ibra and hope for the best. it's fucking bullshit.

Mexes, Taiwo and Aquilani should be good signings but Milan still need another midfielder, the impact of Gattuso, Seedorf and MVB will be decreasing all the time when it matters (Champions League). Still a squad which could/should win the league, but I'd like to see you do a lot better in the CL.

I'm content with the transfer mercato FOR NOW only because I think we'll get Ganso in January. Our squad right now is good enough to achieve our first-half-of-the-season objectives in being very competitive for Serie A while getting us safely through to the KO stages of CL. If we get Ganso and maybe another solid addition in January we'll be then set to have a realistic chance of a run at the CL.

Ganso aside, I'd have liked us to nab an extra midfielder given Flamini's injury and Rino's 4 game suspension in CL...but apart from the first game against Barca, the other 3 games are pretty straight forward ones...maybe the likely scenario for that game is an Aquilani-Van Bommel-Boateng midfield trio with one of Ribinho or Cassano playing in the hole...at all cases, odds are heavily stacked against us getting anything from that game so I don't think it's worth a rash quickfix when maybe we can get a decent player on the cheap in January. If we do somehow get that in the next 24 hours then the better for sure.

but if allegri had any idea of how to make his team play proper football, pirlo would not have left.

Massimo Oddo has left Italian champions Milan by agreeing to a loan stint at minnows Lecce.

The right-back, who was rarely used last term, will spend the 2011-12 campaign at the Via Del Mare.

The 2006 World Cup winner joined the Rossoneri in January 2007 after moving from capital club Lazio.

Oddo, who spent 2008-09 on loan at Bayern Munich, has played in just 56 League games for Milan, scoring two goals.

the league website has nocerino transferred to milan. no official statement from either club, but it's on the website so that's enough confirmation.
