Juventus have officially signed Marcelo Alejandro Estigarribia several days after he completed his medical.

There were question marks over how much red tape was holding up the transfer, but the Bianconeri announced it on their official website this evening.

“Juventus Football Club announce the agreement with Uruguayan club Deportivo Maldonado to take Marcelo Alejandro Estigarribia Balmori on loan for €0.5m,” read the statement.

“The contract includes an option to buy at the end of the 2011-12 campaign for €5m to be paid in three instalments.”

The left-footed Paraguayan international turns 24 in September and is nicknamed El Chelo, which means ‘the cello.’

Serie A minnows Cesena have confirmed the capture of Jorge Martinez from Juventus.

The Uruguayan passed his medical with the club this morning before putting pen to paper on a one-year deal.

Martinez has joined the outfit on a 12-month loan. It’s understood that the Old Lady are still paying a part, if not all, of his wages.

The South American joined Juve last summer at a cost of €12m from Catania, but he endured a problematic and injury-hit campaign.

Martinez appeared in just 14 Serie A games for the Bianconeri, for a total of only 563 minutes.

He’ll begin training with his new teammates at the Centro Sportivo di Villa Silvia from tomorrow.

While Eljero Elia undergoes his medical, Juventus have officially terminated Zdenek Grygera’s contract, so he’s free to join Fulham.

The Bianconeri website announced two events this evening as players come and go from Turin.

The first is that Hamburg and Holland winger Elia is undergoing his medical at the Fornaca clinic in Sessant and the Sport Medicine Institute.

He is expected to sign his contract later this evening.

Meanwhile, a statement was released confirming Grygera’s contract has been terminated by mutual consent.

The Czech defender had been at Juventus for four years, but is now free to complete his expected transfer to Fulham.

Eljero Elia is officially a Juventus player after he completed his transfer from German club Hamburg.

The Turin outfit have agreed to pay the Bundesliga side a fee of €9m for the Dutch international midfielder.

That amount will be paid in three instalments – €4m immediately, €2.5m on 31 January 2012 and €2.5m on 31 January 2013.

The transfer fee may increase by a further €1m should certain bonus clauses be activated.

Elia himself has signed a four-year contract with the Turin giants.

Conte is ready to stick it to teams with all these attacking options he has. Let's give Bonucci/Barzagli another shot and see where the second season takes us. They could be revelations. I know you guys love to slobber on Chiellinis wang but this guy is just as clumsy as any other defender on this team and at fault for many goals.
