I don't see Juve getting Malouda. I think Chelsea will want to keep him, since he was probably their most effective player in the last couple of seasons.

I don't disagree with what you say about Marchisio, Pirlo and 4-4-2, Tony. However, Conte seems to have his heart set being attacking and controlling possession, so I'm not sure he sees a place for a proper DM in that system, so we'll see how that goes.

I'd rather see Juve play 4-3-3 and get a DM in (Lassana Diarra).

And Ranocchia and Abate are far from 'great' players.

Ranocchia and Abate are not great yet, but you will see. Ranocchia will be the top CB in italy and Abate will be the top RB for many years. Ranocchia, in a more organized system (unlike what Leonardo disassembled Inter into last season) will be sensational. Abate is already an incredible attacking full back, but he needs to improve defensively.

Maybe Chelsea would take Marchisio and some Millions for Essien? They have Mikel to play DM. Maybe Song from Arsenal? Someone like that may not be realistic, but if we can qualify for CL next season and Marchisio has failed to cement a place in the Juventus lineup, I see no better solution than to offload him for some serious DM quality.

How can Conte control posession without a controlling player in the CM? Even Barcelona has Busquets and Mascherano. I think, once again, the lack of a DM will hurt us. I just hope we don't make any rash decisions in January. We should start opening negotiations with clubs now.

I don't see us signing a LW either. We have enough players to throw at that spot. Just another reason we should have kept Giovinco.

Yago Falque Silva will play for Tottenham in 2011-12 after he competed a loan move from Juventus.

The Turin giants confirmed the switch on Friday, adding that the London club will have the option to buy next summer.

The 21-year-old joined Juventus in 2008 from Barcelona, but he has never played in a competitive game for the outfit.

He’s spent loan stints at Bari and Villarreal B in previous campaigns.

Bonucci agent confirms Zenit talks



Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci is “in negotiations with Zenit and the move could be completed within days,” said his agent.
There had been reports that the Bianconeri were looking to sell Bonucci this summer following some disappointing performances.

“There is nothing new right now,” agent Davide Torchia told Sportitalia.

“We are in negotiations with Zenit, but there’s no need to sprint. The move could be completed within days.

“At the moment, however, it’s all in stand-by.”

Bonucci would join Italian Coach Luciano Spalletti, midfielder Alessandro Rosina and fellow defender Mimmo Criscito in St Petersburg.

Meanwhile, Juventus have officially sold Sergio Almiron to Catania. The Argentine midfielder signed a three-year contract.

I don't see the financial sense in that move. Is this guy Alves worth that much?? Once again Juve had to get rid of a player at a loss. This club bleeds money and doesn't get anywhere near the amount they paid for a player. They need to stop over paying for players. Let's see how Giaccherini comes about.

What a joke. 3m for Lugano and we cant make that deal? Talk about a great value signing. This is why this club will never be what it used to. We will spend 15m on an unproven idiot in Bonucci, but wont spend 3m on a guy who is a captain of his club team which plays year in, year out in the CL and co-captain of a national team that is beating everyone right now. Fucking joke.

Alves is a good defender and BY FAR the best link we've had after Lugano. Lugano is a better player overall though.

Catania have continued their busy summer recruitment drive by signing Sergio Almiron from Juventus for an undisclosed fee.

Almiron has signed a three-year contract with Catania after the Argentine midfielder made 25 league appearances on loan for Bari last season.

The 30-year-old becomes Catania's 10th signing ahead of the new season, with former Roma boss Vincenzo Montella now in charge of the club.

His departure from Juve will help to free up space in the Old Lady's squad for the imminent arrival of Marcelo Estigarribia from Le Mans.

The Paraguay international midfielder has passed a medical in Turin and he is due to join on loan with a view to a permanent move.
