Not a bad draw in the CL, could have been so much worse. Even if we don't buy anyone we should be able to get to the knockout rounds. Then again, you never know. After all, its the CL and we are Inter.

5 more days to go in the market, let's see what happens. Genoa don't seem intent on giving up Kucka for now and I don't see us having a second option.

Great champions league draw. We should expect first in that group but knowing us we will make it out of the group stage on the last day.
5 days to go indeed and tbh, I would not mind it if we went out and paid the full amount to get Zarate. A lot of crazy things happen on the last day of the window. Did AC not get Ibra and Robinho close to if not on the last day of the transfer window last year?

Robinho was the last day, Ibra about 28th or 29th I think.

Is Zarate worth all that money? Very talented on his day but Eto'o gave you goals galore, Zarate wouldn't. Getting in both Zarate and, say, Forlan would be a good move though.

Da Genova sono sicuri: Rodrigo Palacio resta in rossoblù e Goran Pandev in nerazzurro, la trattativa per l'argentino sarebbe ormai completamente sfumata. Gli incontri tra il direttore sportivo Stefano Capozucca e Marco Branca sono tesi solo a trovare il giusto accordo per le comproprietà di Emiliano Viviano e Juraj Kucka.

Ma se c'è chi parla di un accordo da limare con una semplice differenza di prezzo e che porterebbe subito il centrocampista in rossoblù, in Liguria la pensano diversamente: secondo il Corriere Mercantile lo slovacco resterà al Genoa fino al giugno 2012. "Gasperini lo voleva fin da ora, ma non sarà accontentato".

Si tratterebbe dunque di trovare un accordo per il futuro (il 31 agosto il giocatore sarebbe quindi a disposizione di Malesani) e l'intesa sarebbe ad un passo, lo dimostrerebbe la visita di ieri negli uffici di Ghelfi da parte del dirigente del Grifone. Che vuole chiudere con l'Inter per fiondarsi sull'attaccante che manca: più Gilardino che Borriello. "Ma senza i soldi provenienti dalla Milano nerazzurra - si legge in un articolo dello stesso giornale - sarebbe inutile fissare un altro appuntamento. E' solo una questione di ore".

Se così fosse la società di Corso Vittorio Emanuele avrà a disposizione pochissimi giorni per dare a Gasperini il centrocampista che serve a far respirare Cambiasso, Thiago Motta e Stankovic.

Più facile pensare che le due parti si vengano incontro a metà strada con Preziosi che potrebbe lasciar partire il suo calciatore a gennaio.

I think Forlan's star has slipped a little and he's not quite the same player anymore. Obviously that happens as he's gets older – whats he now 32? – but even when watching during the Copa America he looked like he lost a few yards of pace and didn't look as effective. He didn't score too many goals for Atletico last year either, I don't think.

I think the postponement of Serie A is good for Inter, hopefully they can get in some players before the 1st game now.

What's the point of letting go of Pandev when we have no guarantees that anyone is coming in?

Goran Pandev has confirmed that he will be playing for Napoli in the new season after being sacrificed by Inter.

The Azzurri held talks with Inter officials this afternoon where it is understood that a loan transfer was agreed.

“I’m happy that I’ll have the chance to play in the Champions League for such a club as Napoli,” the wide attacker told Sky Sport Italia.

“I didn’t want to leave Inter, but this will be a new experience for me and the most important thing is that I’m happy.

“In fact, I’m extremely happy.”

The San Paolo outfit were paired with the international earlier this summer, but links then seemed to cool.

“The Pandev deal was wrapped up at 10 o’clock this morning,” noted Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis.

“We did well to keep it hidden from everyone until we finally reached an agreement over the form of the transfer.”

Pandev, heavily linked with Genoa, will be presented to the San Paolo public tomorrow night when the Azzurri will play a friendly against Palermo.

The tie was arranged after Week 1 of the Serie A season was postponed due to strike action from the Players’ Association.

Zarate hasn't played for Lazio in the Europe League qualifiers even though he was in the squad. I think he may be coming our way soon (only 4 days left) considering now that Pandev has gone on loan and we have even more space up front. Also, a 5m Forlan deal seems very close.

Poli is an Inter player. 1 year loan for 1 million with an option to buy him next year for 6M. The deal aint bad, but I doubt Poli is the answer to our prayers..

Great deal with Poli. Forlan very close with Kucka to follow. As much as I would like to see Zarate here, I think Palacio will be arriving in his place shortly as well.

Poli is more of a regista than the dynamic midfielder we are looking for but at least he is young and has potential. We could always do with a good regista.

Kucka will join us only next year, in the summer of 2012. Currently, Genoa are not letting go of Palacio because they want cash to buy either Gilardino/Borriello.

My bet is that he's play not more than 10 games. For the rest he's either be on the bench or injured.

Well done to Inter for signing a midfielder who struggled to get into a team that just got relegated.

I don't get the hype around Poli at all.
