FT: Bayer Leverkusen 1-0 Werder Bremen

Bayer Leverkusen secured a late goal to get their first win of the campaign. Leverkusen haad the first chance of the match on 13 minutes. Renato Augusto testing Tim Wiese who had to be at full stretch to deny him. Minutes later, Andre Schurrle had a shot go just over the bar. On the stroke of half time, Stefan Kiessling had the chance to put Leverkusen infront but he directed his header straight at Tim Wiese. It was the same story in the second half. 15 minutes from time, Michal Kadlec thought his freekick had found the top corner but Tim Wiese pulled off a great save. However 5 minutes from time, Kadlec scored what proved to be the winner. Gonzalo Castro's corner was headed golawards by Kadlec but his initial header was blocked but he made no mistake bundling home the rebound. In stoppage time, Eren Derdiyok was through 1-on-1 with Wiese but he struck his shot straight at Wiese.

FT: Lille 0-1 Montpellier

The champions are yet to win this season after a shock home defeat to Montpellier. 10 minutes in, Moussa Sow had a shot smartly saved by Laurent Pionnier. Eden Hazard also went close from long range. Montpellier's first chance came 5 minutes into the 2nd half when Geoffrey Dernis picked out John Utaka but Utaka pulled his shot wide. Montpellier took the lead 20 minuts from time Olivier Giroud chested down a cross and slotted the ball past Mickael Landreau. Hazard went close to equalising for Lille but he was denied by Pionnier. John Utaka nearly doubled Montpelliers advantage but his shot rebounded off the post. Montpellier will be happy and maintain their 100% record.

FT: Borussia Monchengladbach 4-1 Wolfsburg

Borussia Monchengladbach are now top of the table after coming from behind to thump Wolfsburg. Wolfsburg took the lead 12 minutes in after Christian Trasch laid the ball off for Makoto Hasebe to lash the ball into the bottom corner. The home side equalised after 15 minutes when Raul Bobadilla dispossessed Simon Kjaer and then set up Marco Reus to score. On 32 minutes, Michael Schulze brought down Marco Reus allowing Filip Daems to score the resulting penalty to put the home side 2-1 up. After some good work down the right from Raul Bobadilla, he set up Mike Hanke but he spooned the ball over from close range. However on the stroke of half time, Raul Bobadilla nodded home a corner to open up a two goal lead.Gladbach continued carving up opportunities in the second half with Juan Arango hitting the post. on 67 minutes, Marco Reus made it 4-1 when he slotted home Juan Arango's cross from 12 yards. Thorben Marx and Mike Hanke also went close to extending the lead. Patrick Helmes had the chance to reduce the 3 goal margin but his shot was tipped away by Marc andre ter Stegen.

As bad as Wolfsburg were, Gladbach played some cracking football at times.

I wonder how Reus has kept such a low profile?

He impresses me pretty much every time I see him, unlike, say, Marin, who seems to be much more highly rated for some reason.

FT: CSKA Moscow 3-0 Tom Tomsk

CSKA Moscow stay top after a comprehensive victory over Tom. After a goalless first half, CSKA broke the deadlock on 50 minutes when top scorer Seydou Doumbia scored. On 63 minutes, Keisuke Honda made it 2 minutes after coming on. 5 minutes later, Seydou Doumbia made it 3 for a comfortable victory. Zenit are playing Krylya Sovetov in 20 minutes.

FT: Bayern Munich 5-0 Hamburg

Bayern Munich thrashed a poor Hamburg side to move up to second in the table. Bayern took the lead 13 minutes in when Arjen Robben whipped in a freekick which was powered home by the head of Daniel van Buyten past Jaroslav Drobny. Franck Ribery made it 2 on 17 minutes in when he dribbled into the box and slotted the ball into the bottom corner. Mario Gomez was close to making it three on the half hour mark but was denied by Drobny. However on 34 minutes, Arjen Robben made it 3 with a similar goal to Ribery. Gomez made it 4 on 56 minutes when he played a 1-2 with Thomas Muller and inturn poked the ball past Drobny. A few minutes later, Gomez rounded Drobny but took too long to shoot which allowed Drobny to recover. Ivica Olic made it 5 on 80 minutes when he headed home Holger Badstuber's cross.

FT: Cologne 1-1 Kaiserslautern

Cologne finally got off the mark with this draw at home to Kaiserslautern. The first half was very even and it took 17 minutes for the deadlock to be broken when Christian TIffert made his way down the right flank and whipped the ball in for Ivo Ilicevic to thump home a volley. However, it took only 2 minutes for Cologne to equalise. Salowmir Peszko did brilliantly on the right as he took the ball beyond the defender, corssed the ball in for Sascha Riether to knock the ball on for Mato Jajalo to blast the ball home. Kaiserslautern went close to going in fornt when Rodnei's header was superbly tipped away by Miro Varvodic. Adil Chihi was then put through on goal and could have put Cologne in front but he hesitated which allowed Kevin Trapp to deny him. The 2nd half was quiet with Milivoje Novakovic and Jajalo wasting promising chances for Cologne.

FT: Heerenveen 1-5 Twente

Twente continued their 100% record with this thrashign away to Heerenveen. Luuk de Jong opened the scoring on 27 minutes as he took the ball inside the area, unleashed a shot which foudn the top corner. 3 minutes later, Bryan Ruiz played through Willem Jansen who drilled the ball home to make it 2-0. On the stroke of half time, Marc Janko made it 3 with a shot from just outside the box that found the top corner. In the 2nd half, Heerenveen had the chance to pull a goal back but Darryl Janmaat sent his header wide from a promising position. Emir Bajrami made it 4-0 with a 20 yard drive on 66 minutes. Luciano Narsingh pulled a goal back on 87 minutes when he bundled the ball home from close range. However, a minute later, Marc Janko made it 5-1 from the penalty spot after he had been fouled by Youssef El Akchaoui. Twente will be full of confidence heading into their 2nd leg tie with Benfica in midweek.

FT: Ajaccio 1-1 Evian

The battle of the promoted sides ended in a 1-1 draw in which Evian will be thinking how they did not get the three points after dominating the game. Ajaccio took the lead 7 minutes in when Frederic Sammaritano was found in a good positian by Joan Canvial and he was able to slot the ball into the net. Evian then dominated Ajaccio for the rest of the game but could not find a goal until 15 minuts from time, Kevin Berigaud equalised for Evian which they throughly deserved. THey pushed for a winner but could nto find it. Evian lie in 6th position.

FT: Mainz 2-4 Schalke

Mainz threw away a 2 goal lead to lose their first game of the season. Andreas Ivanschitz opened the scoring after 7 minutes when he volleyed Zoltan Stieberr's freekick past Ralf Fahrmann. Then on 12 minutes, Lewis Holtby lost the ball to Sami Allagui, Allagui's long range shot was fumbled by Ralf Fahrmann which allowed Elkin Soto to poke the loose ball home to give Mainz a 2 goal lead. Mainz were in control for the whole of the first half. Schalke introduced Jefferson Farfan at half time and he made the difference. Schalke pulled a goal back on 57 minutes when Klaas Jan Huntelaar converted Raul's pass. On 64 minutes, Benedikt Howedes headed home Jefferson Farfan's cross to equalise. Mainz had a goal correctly disallowed when Eric Maxin Choupo Moting poked the loose ball home when Eugen Polanski's shot rebounded off the post. However, Choupo Moting was correctly ruled offside. With 8 minutes to go, Schalke went in front when Joel Matip diverted Raul's header into the net. In the final minute, Christian Fuchs powered home a delightful freekick from 25 yards that left Heinz Muller with no chance.

FT: ADO Den Haag 0-3 PSV Eindhoven

PSV Eindhoven got their first away win of the season after disposing of ADO Den Haag. The match was decided in the first half. PSV took the lead on 21 minutes when Giorginio Wijnaldum advanced down the right before cutting the ball back for Dries Mertens to score. On 24 minutes, Dries Mertens played a brilliant diagional through ball for Wijnaldum to latch onto and slot the ball into the bottom corner to make it 2-0. On 39 minutes, Dries Mertens' shot was parried by Gino Coutinho with the rebound being diverted into the net by Ola Toivonen to make it 3. The 2nd half was a quiet affair. ADO had a few chances with jens Toornstra having a volley saved by Andreas Isaksson and Wesley Verhoek heading over from a promising position. Wijnaldum had the notable effort for PSV in the 2nd half with his effort from distance testing Gino Coutinho.

FT: Anzhi Makhachkala 2-1 Dinamo Moscow

Anzhi Makhachkala defeated Dinamo Moscow to cmove upto 4th and close the gap on Dinamo to 2 points. Anzhi took the lead after 22 minutes when Mbark Boussoufa scored. However, on the stroke of half time, former Liverfekkin'wankscum striker Andriy Voronin equalised. However, with 18 minutes to go, Ruslan Prudnikov scored what proved to be the winner. CSKA and Zenit remain 1st and 2nd after their respective victories over Tom Tomsk and Krylya Sovetov.

FT: Hannover 1-1 Hertha Berlin

Hertha Berlin halted Hannover's 100% start. Sergio Pinto gave Hannover the lead on 33 minuts with a spectacular 30 yard freekick. In 2nd half, Hertha Berlin had the majority of possession but could not find their way past the Hannover backline. On 83 minutes, Christian Lell advanced down the right, played the cross for Pierre-Michel Lasogga to convert the cross to equalise. Christian Pander had the ball in the net in the closing stages for Hannover but it was ruled out for offside.

FT: Marseille 0-0 St Etienne

Marseille were unable to defeat St Etienne in pursuit of their first victory of the season with their third successeive draw. Marseille had the first chance on 14 minutes when a quick counter saw Nicolas N'Koulou release Loic Remy who then flicked the ball onto Lucho Gonzalez with his drive being held by Stephane Ruffier. 4 minutes later, Lucho Gonzalez released Loic Remy whose shot rebounded back off the post. Marseille dominated the first half and Andre Ayew saw his volley go inches wide of the post. In the 2nd half, St Etienne started off the more lively. On 56 minutes, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang teed up Bakary Sako whose shot from 12 yards rebounded back off the underside off the crossbar. Then on 73 minutes, Bakary Sako was played through on goal after a quick freekick but his finish was weak and easily cleared away. In the closing stages, ANdre Pierre Gignac's pwoerful header was saved at point blank by Stephane Ruffier. St Etienne were also reduced to 10 men when Jean Pascal Mignot was sent off for his second booking.

FT: Hertha Berlin 1-0 Stuttgart

Hertha Berlin recorded their first win of the season and also their first home Bundesliga win since August 2009. Raffael had the first chance of the game on 12 minutes when his stinging shot was well cleared by Serdar Tasci. Raffael then provided a cross that Andreas Ottl narrowly volleyed wide. However, Stuttgart went close on the half hour mark when Shinji Okazaki headed Tamas Hajnal's cross off the bar. Tamas Hajnal then had a 30 yard drive trouble Kraft which had to be scrambled away. Just before half time, Patrick Ebert had an effort saved by Sven Ulreich. After the break, Tamas Hajnal had a shot from the edge of the box just narrowly go over the bar. Patrick Ebert then played a sublime cross through the six yard box but there was no Hertha player in sight to convert the ball home. Patrick Ebert then whipped in a freekick which Adrian Ramos headed towards goal which brought out a great save from Ulreich. With 4 minutes to go, Patrick Ebert then whipped in a brilliant cross which Raffael powefully headed into the bottom corner. Hertha Berlin then record their first victory while Stuttgart are without a victory since their opening day victory over Schalke.
