just watched malmo-milan which was 2-2 after full time but we won 5-4 on pk's.

ambrosini is the new kaladze. if there was a player who played for milan that i had ranked the lowest, it would be ambrosini. no questions asked. but then he starts playing even worse than before. i don't know how this man keeps his spot in the team, he sucks so incredibly bad. he doesn't even last a full 20 minutes.

and cassano didn't look happy at all. he scored but didn't crack a smile. i have no doubt that there's a bigger chance of fabregas joining us than there is of cassano staying.

I wouldn't say that Ambro is indispensable or anything like that, he certainly is very replaceable and IMO he has to fight hard for his place with Van Bommel, however, I still maintain, despite all his known limitations, he's far more useful to us that Gattuso. I have no fucking clue why we kept this guy, no doubt he's done so much for the club over the years and deserves respect and his legacy is probably bigger than Ambro's, but I don't see what his use right now that he lost his only asset and that his stamina and mobility, he has no other skill he can fall on. He should've been let go 3 years ago if you ask me. Also, let's not forget his attitude/temper and the stupid situations we keep finding ourselves in because of him. Surely we can find a young gun who possesses better technical skills than Rino (not that hard) and has some of that energy that a younger Rino would've given us.

^I'll probably agree there. I don't think him not moving there would have anything to do with that.

That said, I really hope we keep Cassano as he's on the few creative forces we have on the team right now and somebody who can do a bit of playmaking and assist in the last 3rd of the pitch. I don't think it's inevitable he's leaving Milan and so far I haven't heard anything from the club or the player himself that suggests we're going to see that happen

Bayern Munich's Bastian Schweinsteiger: AC Milan is a great club

Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger admits he is flattered by AC Milan's pursuit of his services, amid reports of a €25 million bid being lined up.

"Milan are a great club," Schweinsteiger told L'Equipe when quizzed on Milan's interest. "Never say never, so we'll see."

The news comes shortly after the 27-year-old reacted to public criticism from former teammate and goalkeeper Oliver Kahn, who scrutinized the leadership abilities of the midfielder and defender Philip Lahm.

"I can still remember Kahn previously hating criticism channeled through the media from ex-colleagues," Schweinsteiger told FIG. "From such a great player, I expect that he remembers his stance, so any matters [involving me and Philip Lahm] must be analyzed and addressed internally."
