Our start to the game was pathetic, Inter started with some pace and I think them playing 3 at the back gave them an advantage as we were outnumbered in midfield but we then woke up, nobody could maintain that pace for too long, and we were the better for most of the game so this is a deserved win IMO. It was a fairly scrappy game but considering the early stage of the season and terrible weather condition, I think we were OK

Yeah I was reading that yesterday...anyways, for Milan, the main takeway for me is that we have a severe lack of quality in midfield. I think we'll need 2 players there if we are to get to where we want to get. I'm not too worried about attack or defense.

Chievo have expressed their satisfaction after completing a swoop for Milan youngster Alberto Paloschi.

The Italian Under-21 international has joined the Verona minnows on loan for the season. Chievo will also have the option to buy a 50 per cent stake in him next summer.

“Paloschi was our first choice,” Chievo sporting director Giovanni Sartori told MilanNews.it on Tuesday.

“We have been chasing him for some time and we are extremely satisfied that we were able to get him.

“Is Paloschi happy? I think and I hope so. After all, he agreed to the operation.”

The former Parma player only returned to Milan this summer after joining Genoa during the January transfer window.

Oh, and yes, I agree, demann - Boateng is a natural mezz'ala, really, and bringing in an attacking midfielder with a little more technical quality would be likely to benefit you guys more than bringing in someone to play as part of the midfield three behind Boateng.
