There was a little story on SSN saying our move for Kameni has broke down because we have failed to agree personal terms. Now, I'm okay with that, provided we get Stekelenburg or another keeper who is just as good (preferably better, mind) as Kameni.

How come the hasn't released any official statements regarding our mercato dealings? Nothing on Lamela, Doni, Guberti, Jose Angel. Our old management was quicker at releasing official statements. I blame the Americans.

Not bad, Davey, although I'd prefer Rosi and Crescenzi at full-back. And I can't see Lamela being a starter for us straight away, he won't join up with the squad until 20 August (under-20 WC duty) and it may take him quite a while to learn and adapt to the Italian (and European) game.

The team presentation was all a bit whacky, all a bit crazy, but also all a bit Roman. They had auctions and sold shit. Totti was asked how much Borriello's shirt is worth. He replied: "Nothing". He also said "Bet on DDR's shirt because is the last one before he goes away". Funny stuff.

It finished by Luis Enrique singing 'Roma Roma Roma', quite hilarious. Fair play to him, though, he's a bit of craic.

rosi and crescenzi at full back? come on now. how many times have you seen cresc. play? and i think we both know that rosi can NOT, quite simply, be our starting RB. you're right about lamela, just swap him and perrotta in that illustration.

also, I was posting updates on the offside as the "show" went on. here they are":

- Totti was asked how much Borriello's shirt was worth. He replied: "Nothing". lol

- Auctioning off of De Rossi's maglia... these yanks are making a proper show out of this.. DDR bought his own shirt for €1,000.

- Totti: "Bid on DDR's shirt because its the last maglia before Daniele leaves anyway" - fucking LOL. What a sense of humour (he was kidding).

- Totti asked how much DDR's shirt is worth: "it has no price for me... but if I have to say a price... €12"

- The "show", as much as I hate to call it that, has become fun and everyone is enjoying themselves. LE's cheesy smile has turned into an authentic one.

- Auctioning off of Totti's maglia - LE bought it for €1,300. His celebration is fucking hilarious. LMAO.

- FUCKING LOL. They're making LE sing "Roma, Roma, Roma"

- Someone get LE a new voice. He sounds like Zarate. I don't see that voice motivating guys like De Rossi in the 89th when we're down 3-2 against Intermerda. lol.

- The end. Looks like we'll see Bojan and the apple another time.

Haven't seen Crescenzi play much, no, at least not for Crotone. I did see him play for the Azzurrini a few times, and he impressed me in a friendly against Germany a few months back. Full of energy and quite tenacious in the tackle and good going forward. I'd like to think he can challenge Jose Valdes for that starting spot. Rosi, as you say, is perhaps not starting material, but I still like him.

I would like Menez to be played as a 'regista del tutto campo', or whatever it was Rossi said of Pastore when he returned to the Palermo fold. I doubt he will get a chance there, though. I believe he could do it - in the way Nasri or Sneijder could too. I'd also love to see Rosi given the right back slot.

Loving the kits. I've got the 09/10 home and 10/11 black one atm, both with Totti proudly on the back. It would make sense to get a white one, to complete the collection....but I can't keep my eyes off that new black one. What a beautiful shirt
