Not really.

The Cup Winners' Cup, as the name suggests, was for teams who had won domestic cups.

The UEFA Cup, then, generally involved the second and third placed teams from leagues (since the European Cup was still the way it ought to be).

If I wanted to post an accomplishment, I would've posted the video of our win over Croatia (#8 in FIFA world rankings) just 2 months ago or the win over Slovenia in November 2010.
