Erik Lamela, dall’inizio della trattativa con la Roma, non aveva mai parlato direttamente delle sue possibilità di approdare nella capitale. Lo ha fatto stasera, a trattativa chiusa e ad accordo raggiunto. E lo ha fatto tramite il suo twitter e il suo facebook ufficiale.

Yeah, it looks like a 5 year deal should be done today. Still no word on what's really going on with Bojan though. It seems that he's pretty much accepted that he's now a Roma player, but we haven't officially signed him yet.

Interesting about Riise leaving. He was a good player for us, and I hope he does well where ever he ends up. Is Castellini still on our team? Because I don't think we have a single left back on the roster as of now.

Castellini was loaned to us and the loan expired last month. Now, we have Crescenzi/Antunes at LB, and I think it will just be Angel/Crescenzi next season without any Emiliano Insuas etc. like we have been linked.

Hello all. Tried to keep up with our dealings the best I can whilst I was away, such as on the football-italia site. Got a little excited when we were linked with Pastore, but that one isn't going to happen. Sad to see Riise go in one way, always liked him, but if the lad who's name escapes me from Sporting Gijon is good and Crescenzi is able to step up to the plate then we'll be fine at LB.

I can safely say I've never seen Lamela play but he seems highly rated enough, looking forward to his arrival. What's the crack with Bojan? Gone well quiet with him.

Stekelenburg would be a very nice addition too, but that seems to be just a rumour at the minute.

to be honest both Bojan and Stek are looking very, very likely at this moment. Bojan's father reportedly said that his son would sign for Roma in about one week's time, if I recall correctly, and Stek is also apparently just a matter of time.

Jose Angel I think is pretty much done - he said himself that there was interest from both Barcelona and Roma and he picked us etc. etc.

edit: lupa, i think it may depend a bit on whether or not sanchez signs as that was supposed to go through already (like fabregas, but give me a break..), but I think we'll get him regardless as Barcelona will probably sign another replacement if not sanchez.

To inform you, they put a brake on the Stekelenburg transfer. They gonna talk with LE and his staff what kinda GK they want.

Bojan should be on his way. Getafe had an £8million bid accepted but Bojan told them he would rather join Roma. Jose Angel will be a great signing for the backline. Watched a lot of Sporting Gijon and he had to battle it out with Roberto Canella for the LB position and when i did see him play, he was impressive. THe money invested in Lamela looks like a good investment for the future. From here on in, all he can do is improve and he will a very good addition to the squad.

Looks like Kameni may be comping instead of Stek. Sab apparently being stingy because he had to pay more than expected for Lamela (close to 20m including taxes and bonuses, plus a 1.5m salary)
