Ciao from Bologna, lads. I have to say, what a spectacular city. It has exceeded all expectations. I love Roma, it is my favourite city without doubt, but there is something special about this place. It offers a sense of a more Italian way of life, if you get me, very laid back and relatively untouched from all the tourism and commericialism which you can get in Roma, and the streets and architecture and buildings are stunning. You really get a feel for the place, and there arent many tourists in general. The weather has been ridiculous, 33°C today, the heat is lovely but feck me its tough going for us not being used to it. Off to Firenze tomorrow, which is probably even nicer.
