I agree he is a risk and Spaniards don't have a great track record in Italia. It is still however an intriguing signing.
I would love to see G. Rossi playing for Roma however I think the 30 million Euro price tag is stopping that. Though if we can convince some Premiershit team to cough up 20 million for Vucinic then who knows. Plus Barca seem to have their sights set on Sanchez rather than Rossi.

Let's hope those observations don't come back to bite us in the arse, Goffredo. Carroll spoke the language of his new team, knew the league, knew the culture into which he was moving, wasn't moving far from family and friends, has the physical qualities to be successful in that league however raw a product he is in all sorts of other ways. Or, to put it another way, for the proposition that Sabatini is "one hell of a negotiator" there's the counter-proposition that Barca know what they're getting rid of and it tells you something that they're prepared to let him go for relatively little. Or, to put it a third way, Reyes was an outstanding prospect when he moved to Arsewipe.
