I think they can build a good team here as long as they build one that has heart. With the league as their only focus, you can hope they stay injury free and fatigue free. Juve blew too many leads last season and most of it was because they rolled over or had some type of mental lapse. You can't go further down from here, this has to be rock bottom. The past 2 years have been beyond terrible. I'll still be excited for this season as I always am when theres new faces. I read an article linking Juve to Tevez. Bad signing.

How come Tevez would be a bad signing do you think? He's in a different league to anything you've got at the moment (minus ADP, but age etc).

Can't see Juve buying any top name though this summer, whether it be Aguero, Tevez or Sanchez. You might well get Vucinic though, unfortunately.

Why spend 9-12m on Lichtsteigner? He is a good player, but not Juve quality. Seems like a waste of money that could be spend elsewhere.

Sad to see us not linked with Gastaldello, Palombo or Cassano. Three players that will be available for under their value and would be instant upgrades.

I reckon Lichtsteiner is a good option.

Has the athleticism to get up and down the pitch and has the sort of nasty, aggressive streak that Juve are currently sorely lacking.

Palombo doesn't seem to want to leave Samp.

There was an isolated rumour the other day of Juve and Milan swapping Cassano and Amauri.

Stephan Lichtsteiner is on the verge of becoming a Juventus player after he underwent his medical earlier today.

The right-back will join the Old Lady from Lazio after a fee of around €10m was agreed between the two parties.

The release clause in his Stadio Olimpico agreement was set at €12m.

The Swiss international is expected to put pen to paper on a four-year deal either later today or at some stage on Tuesday.

Lichtsteiner should net somewhere in the region of €2m a campaign from La Vecchia Signora.

He will be the club’s fourth new major signing of the summer after moves for Andrea Pirlo, Reto Ziegler and Michele Pazienza.

Stephan Lichtsteiner is officially a Juventus player after the club confirmed his swoop from Lazio on Friday.

The right-back, a Swiss international, has signed a four-year contract with La Vecchia Signora.

The defender, who had a €12m rescission clause inserted into his capital deal, has cost the Bianconeri €10m.

That fee will be paid in three annual instalments to the Stadio Olimpico outfit.

Juve need to sign Aguero, even if it's for his release clause price of 45 mil. Marotta would look like an idiot (not the first time) if this deal doesn't go through. Moggi would never publicize a deal for this high profile of a player. It makes Juve look really bad.

Hasan Salihamdizic has left Juventus after signing a one-year contract with German club Wolfsburg.

The 34-year-old leaves Turin on a free transfer after his agreement came to an end with the Old Lady.

“I'm sure he’ll do well with his maturity and experience for our team,” Wolfsburg boss Felix Magath said.

"Hasan is a player who has played in his career in various positions at the highest level. So it is a transfer that makes us flexible for the upcoming season.”

The Bosnian midfielder joined Juve on a free transfer in 2007 after almost a decade in Germany with Bayern Munich.

He also has Bundesliga experience with Hamburg.

Salihamidzic played in 73 games in all competitions for La Signora, scoring eight goals in the process.

Even though Aguero is a brillaint striker, i would go for Rossi. Not only would he cost cheaper but he has got experience of playing in Serie A.

How much cheaper would Rossi be, though? Villarreal rejected a £30m bid for him from Spurs last winter, so I'd say they'd be looking for something similar now as well, especially with Spurs still sniffing around him.
