Since Milan has such good relations with them. We may Loan out Didac Vila and Ganso , and they may loan out to us, Pablo Daniel Osvaldo. The idea is for Ganso to settle well in Espanyol and then return to Milan with “knowledge” of Europian football. As for Didac, he just needs more playing time.

Brazil boss Mano Menezes has selected Milan’s Alexandre Pato in his squad for the Copa America despite concerns over his fitness.

The Rossoneri striker picked up a shoulder injury in the club’s last game of the season against Udinese on May 22.

Pato is one of six Serie A based players to be chosen, while Milan target Ganso of Santos has been picked too despite recent injury.

Inter have three players selected in the shape of Julio Cesar, Lucio and Douglas Maicon. Pato’s Milan teammates Robinho and Thiago Silva are also there.

The tournament kicks off on July 1 in Argentina where Brazil will be looking to defend the title they won in 2007.

Philippe Mexes has not joined Milan to become the next Franco Baresi. “Winning is enough for me,” said the stopper.

The Frenchman has joined the Rossoneri on a free transfer from Roma and is looking forward to the challenge.

“I want to give my best on the pitch for the club, the Coach, my colleagues and the fans,” he told Mediaset’s Studio Sport.

“I will have the honour of wearing this shirt for a minimum of four years and this club is the maximum for any footballer.

“I’m not presumptuous enough to think that I will be an heir to Franco Baresi or Alessandro Costacurta.

Mexes also singled out Francesco Totti for special praise.

“Apart from his indisputable ability as a player, Francesco is a stupendous person,” he stated. “I grew up a lot alongside him and Daniele De Rossi.

“Totti, for me, is an idol. If it wasn’t for him then I wouldn’t be here today. I’m honoured to have known him. Totti is not a problem for Coaches, but for defences…”

rumors on TMW say that Galliani/Braida will cancel their trip to Brazil because Ganso will not be playing in the final due to another slight injury.... it remains to be seen whether its the same injury or a new one though.
