Maldini, none whatsover, I don't do it all, except for when I want to set a new position for a player (e.g., set a right-full to train and develop into a left-back as well). It doesn't make any difference whatsoever if you train your team or not.

Thats quite an absentee list. Feck, we just need to secure the three points from this game in any manner possible and move on and focus on next week, but it will not be easy against Empoli with such players missing. And Mancini will be captain...? Well, its good for him, and good for his future at Roma, but surely Philippe Mexes is the obvious choice in the absence of Totti > Panucci > DDR? Well its Spalletti's choice and I'm sure he knows best.

sLumba, I'm sorry, but you just come across as plain thick on this. I leave you to your stupidity - your posts have been comically obtuse and illogical, but clearly you're contented enough in such conceptions, so there is little to be done. One ought not envy one who lives in a fool's paradise since only a fool would think it is paradise.

As Fonz says, Mancini gets the nod purely in terms of the number of caps he's won at the club. I like it because it's a nod to loyalty and presumably it changes little on the pitch, where Pizza will take control of the midfield and Mexes at the back anyway. Let's hope it means he gets the full 90, though perhaps that's too much to ask. And it should be another full 90 for Cicinho so let's hope he and the LitM can combine again to keep our resident dib-Shield axis happy.
