Thanks Imran. Doesn't bode to well to see that no one has been in contact with him as of yet, but perhaps that could change. Although if they're serious about him, they'd want to hurry up about it. Just seen from the same website, who are claiming that tomorrow Roma officials have an interview for our new job arranged with… Arsene Wenger. Yeah, right.

I don't think the Wenger links are all that improbable, actually (in the relative scheme of things, I mean). If he were to leave Arsewipe this summer then everyone would write it up as being the logical move at the end of a cycle. And he's the sort of coach who would be prepared to come to build something, rather than wanting to come into something already built. There's probably a 1 percent chance of Ancelotti going to Arsewipe and Wenger coming to Roma, but in the scheme of things a 1 percent chance is probably not that utterly improbable.

I actually thought a return to France was in the cards for Wenger.

Ancelotti seems most likely, given his availability and our need. I'm not sure he's actually the right manager for the job, given the rebuilding that we need, although I think he might be able to manage Totti better than some of the others.

Reports linking Ancelotti to , based upon his desire to "stay in London". Neil Warnock has done a good job getting them promoted but QPR have quite the collection of rich, mad, foreign, eccentric owners, one of whom is Flavio Briatore who is said to prefer a more famous name managing them. I can see this having some legs, to be honest, but if he choose them over us then its his loss.

Nice team Davey. I like how you've incorporated lots of Roman youngsters. You have Leonel Galeano ahead of Juan and Kjear, though? I don't know much about him, but isn't he only a kid? And Santon out of position at left-back ahead of Riise? The defence is something I'd worry about there to be honest.

Guberti is a good inclusion, although I'm not so sure if he'd be a regular starter. Do we still own half of his contract or is fully owned by Samp? I can't remember.

The best thing about it is, by far, the manager.

i was under the impression we gave up all of Guberti to Samp, that's why he doesnt think twice about putting goals past us

Well all the Roma sites are saying that Luis Enrique is 99% Roma's next manager. Interesting.

Doesn't really make sense since he has no big time experience. Why not keep Montella? I imagine Baldini and Sabatini know what they are doing since they are the ones the candidates are being vetted by. Who knows?

One of my all-time favourite players - and after Guardiola, probably my favourite Barcelona player of that generation. Skilful, imaginative, very, very clever in his movement; why the hell wouldn't you give your own former youth-team coach a chance, though?
