i'm kind of disappointed with this round of 'renewals'. almost everybody has stayed bar pirlo. our midfield will still have an average age above 30. it all depends who the new player we sign is. and there has been no 'smoke' to give any indication of who it will be.

Even if hypothetically assuming Rino will good enough at 33 to start for Milan next year, and even if he somehow shuts up whenever he gets benched, Milan still needs a healthy dose of change in personnel at midfield, both to younger and different players. I agree with you there. It's better to gradually phase out the old guard rather than suddenly have to replace them at once all next year. Besides, there's no way we can compete for CL with this midfield and even 1 addition there is not enough. We'll 2 starters there if we were to challenge in Europe. As we are right now, we're probably good enough to defend the Serie A title but without a quality midfield, no chance in hell for CL

to be honest, i'm not a big fan of pastore; i think he leaves the team down to ten men for too much of the game by not doing an iota of tracking back and helping out with the defensive work and getting a counterattack started. i'd take sanchez over him any day. i'd rather get kaka back, though the man will surely disagree, and i agree that he's getting on in years now (as am i) and he's a big injury risk. hopefully, we can seal ganso.

I'm pretty certain Max would whip him into shape should pastore give him any stick, anyhoo when are we supposed to find out about this new signing of ours, I have heard nothing but good things in regards to Ganso, and as for Sanchez I wouldnt mind him on the squad.
Don't think I would accept Kaka back on the team even though he helped us quite a lot through out his memorable service.

I have a strong feeling Hamsik is just a smokescreen for another target that's not as circulated...having already quickly signed Mexes and Tawio, Milan might play the waiting game and we won't know till July/August, I think Galliani knows the target but is just messing with everybody as he always does

Personally, not a huge fan of either Hamsik or Asamoah, the latter would not even be a midfielderwith the quality we need IMO...Pastore I like but Milan usually goes for Brasilians over Argentines so I think we won't get him either...all indications it would be somebody outside Serie A
