Ancelotti 'won't be crying' if sacked

Roma target Carlo Ancelotti insists “you won’t see me crying” if Chelsea fire him next week. “I will find another solution.”
The manager won the title and FA Cup last season, but will end the campaign empty-handed and is expected to be axed.

“The club have to judge my job - be objective. If they decide to change, it's not a problem,” said the former Milan boss.

“You won't see me crying or doing something. I will accept the decision of the club and find another solution.

“When I started my experience here in England, if someone had told me that we would win the FA Cup and the Premiershit in two years, I'd have been happy.”

Ancelotti was the hot favourite to take over at Roma, but has recently fallen behind in the race, above all because of his unavailability.

He has always publicly declared his love for the Giallorossi, as he spent many years there during his playing career.

The club has been taken over by American investor Thomas Di Benedetto.

“I am happy when I work, and so I have enjoyed this season. I trained for 15 years in this work and, sometimes, I was able to win. Other times, I was not able to win.

Roma 'have money to make fans happy'

One of the new Roma owners, James Pallotta, is in town. “We have the money for the transfer market and will make the fans happy.”

The Giallorossi play their final game of the season on Sunday evening against Sampdoria and a point is enough to secure Europa League football.

“I will be in the stadium tomorrow,” said American investor Pallotta, a colleague of future President Thomas Di Benedetto.

“It’s not a problem that we haven’t qualified for the Champions League, as we have the money for the transfer market.

“You’ll have to ask Di Benedetto at the end of the season, but I can assure you we will make the fans happy.”

It is also reported that Pallotta will fly to London next week for negotiations with England general manager Franco Baldini, who has been earmarked for the position of Roma director general.

(IMO) Well, perhaps for the entertainment value, but you might bruise your forehead banging your head against the wall.
