nah. i know that shinny's a bit gullible and too often repeats everything you say. for the record, i do think van bommel played well for us, for the most part. i also think that we would have won the scudetto without him just the same. i don't think he changed our game around. cassano proved instrumental, especially in february and march, when he was a much needed catalyst in our choking attack.

here's the deal, ambrosini won't get a contract for more than 1 season. that means we keep both van bommel and ambrosini for another year. then they both leave and we're back to square one looking for a midfielder in the middle.

we just sign some guy who can play there and mold him into the greatest.

let's hope strasser works out. he showed flashes of promises in his games. of course, if lose gattuso in the summer and van bummel and ambro next year, we will need more than one more player to replace them. i don't have a lot of confidence in flamini.

ambrosini has signed a contract for one more year.

that means we will probably sign one midfielder to replace pirlo. allegri and galliani both said it will be a left-sided midfielder. i like emanuelson in that role though, we'll see what happens.

Galliani has just dropped a hint in an Interview the club is very interested in signing Robben, Cesc or Diego.

RE Cesc reports say that Arsenal want €35 million + Flamini.

wenger does not sign back players who left. and flamini will not downgrade from milan to arsenal. i would take fabregas in a heartbeat. i hope that it happens.

Seedorf is meeting Galliani next week to discuss his contract again. bet he gets a renewal and Rino is shown the door with Pirlo.

rino won't get shown the door. galliani loves him too much.

also, there is less asked of rino compared to ambrosini. rino's been quite involved this year in goals and in assists. but anyhow, i'm not that upset about ambro renewing, he's a decent enough backup to van bommel. but he's slow as shit. i think he's the slowest player in FIFA 11.

so we signed mexes, taiwo, and most likely a midfielder. is that enough?

if we get fabregas, it will be enough. but so far, we haven't spent a dime on 'purchasing' a new player, so i expect silvio to go balls out to get a midfielder. hopefully it will be fabregas. he would be ideal for the left midfield spot.

gattuso and flamini will be ok on the right, especially with abate pushing up. abate's second half of the season has been brilliant, and over the past few games he's showed a knack for cutting inside too, something we didn't see before. he is growing in confidence, and what makes any fullback great is their confidence.
