Actually, I think the story 'tec (and threddddzo's quote from the agent) proposes is less improbable than you seem to, Fonz, and certainly if it is true then the balance of responsibility shifts dramatically. It is, however, the only scenario in which Mexes gets something like a free ride and it is one for which we remain rather short of sure evidence.

By a number, do you mean three or four runs during the entire match? Because that was about it. Again the context of that game is probably important (they went in leading 5-1 after the first leg), but the approach was defensive, and it was up to the front three to make something happen on their own. The same thing happened in the final, but that was even more defensive. I guess that's why I asked if anyone had seen any other Porto games this season.

You too as well Tom. I know watching matches that you already know the outcome for doesn't really hold your interest but I'd be curious of your take on the tactics and style of play the Villas Boas uses.

This Chewna guy posts some good shit. Fonz's posts were better back when they used the full range of the smilies. threadmund's are too long and so I never bother reading them. I just get google-summarise to process them and they all come back as "chunter, chunter, chunter, I want to stroke Mexes's hair" or "chunter, chunter, chunter, Vooch has such lovely ankles." Weird stuff.
