We might not deserve it, but I really want a EL spot. If the EL is too much of a distraction, we have no business competing in the CL. Not only would playing in the EL help us improve our (Juve's; I don't care about Italy's) coefficient ratings, it will be nice to get away midweek from the monotony of the Serie A and play some foreign teams.

Palermo are going to play their hearts out in the coppa knowing that making it to the final gives them the EL spot regadless of what happens in the rest of the seasom

If you didn't expect Catania to come back and tie it up after the way we started the second half then you haven't been watching juve for the past 2 seasons. This is the type of mentality this team has. Instead of pushing for another goal and finishing Catania off, we sat back and let them get back into the game.

Not particularly appealing, but it's more attractive than most of the names Juve have been linked with.

Haven't seen it mentioned round here that Buffon's agent has apparently told Juve that Buffon wants to leave in the summer.

There seems to be some suggestion Roma are after him, presumably their new owner wants to make a statement of intent.

Man Utd would be my guess, though, given Van der Sar is retiring.

Wages become a big issue when trying to signing players from England, since they pay mediocre squad players what Juve pay decent first team players.
