Ultimo indizio la lite di ieri con Montella. Senza dimenticare che, durante lo scorso mercato invernale, il Tottenham si era fatto avanti proponendo al giocatore il quadriennale della vita (da 3,5 milioni a stagione) e offrendo 15 milioni cash alla Roma. Ma Ranieri blocco' tutto. L'arrivo della nuova proprieta' non ha cambiato le carte in tavola. Vucinic vuole andare via. Nel frattempo, Walter Sabatini e' gia' a lavoro per trovare il suo sostituto. Thank you, Davey Boy. Giovanni is getting on in years you see, and so is not as sharp as he perhaps once was. He's under a lot of stress too, and his regular sparring partner is not around and off enjoying the highlife, so its understandable if he's extra grouchy. He'll be alright, though.

Can never tell with this team....we're due a performance, but football doesn't tend to work like that. We've got better players than Chievo, but they're still totally not safe from relegation, so it'll definitely be tough.

I see you cheesily knobs have only needed a week without me to derail the rest of the season. I agree with Chewna that Mexes isn't really a defensive leader - less so than both Juan and Burdisso. I wouldn't sell Vooch even for 25 mil. And I still blame Totti.

I hope we play a formation like this - with Menez and Vooch behind Totti - though it might as well be called a 4-3-3, really. I have a feeling we may be in for a big win - 6-0, let's say: it would be typical of Roma to pull out a little magic once it's too late.

It sounds like Menez could play. Montella is actually referring to the thing that happened to Menez with the tifosi, but when he says 'he wants to play', it doesn't sound like he's excluding it. It is clear, on the other hand, that Borriello is on the outside looking in.

B'dafeck, I almost would of missed the game had I not clicked your link to SportMediaset there Lupa. I clicked on the related story and saw kick-off time was 12.30 Italian time, on Sabato. Easter Sunday. Right. All games on Saturday.

Good to see Menez in the mix to start. Goes to show his little disagreement with Montella in training and the incident in his car are not having any lasting repercussions. Although certainly neither incident were nice to hear off. He still needs to put more effort in on the pitch, though, and so hopefully things go a bit better for him tomorrow, for his own sake as well as that of the team.

Doing ok, making some decent opportunities, but we've almost been caught out a couple of times at the back. If we score early on in the second half though, I reckon that'd be game over.
