Quite an exciting start, very high tempo and very positive from the lads, it looked liked it was going to be end to end for a while, then Rubentus shut up shop and parked the bus. Not much space to operate in. Pity we couldn't make the breakthrough in that time, but still a long time to go. Some good football all round and good play by the lads, hopefully we can keep it going and get the breakthrough we deserve sooner rather than later.

Well that didn't go to fucking plan. Not at all. We played some good football in the first-half and early second, but then once they went ahead we lost our way and couldn't string two passes together. Very disappointing. We never really looked like getting back into it and never really took the game by the balls and put them under any serious amount of pressure and there was no real urgency, which was sad to see. It was like the lads were all waiting for it to happen. Sometimes all it takes is a spark but none of Totti or Menez or Vooch or Pizza really looked like doing it. Its a shame given Udinese's defeat today, and it was a great chance to build some momentum in the race for 4th and set us up nicely for our trip to Udine next week.

Typical. Nazio lost, Udinese lost, and we can't take advantage of it. Should have expected the loss after seeing the other results.

I didn't get to see much of the first half due to lousy streams though what I did see was some nice football. Then the second half was the same old story. We concede then we lose the initiative. Like Lupa said whenever an opportunity is gifted to us like Lazio and Udinese losing we blow it.

Well, first of all I wanted to piss you off, Edzo. If anything, Edzo, you're consistent. I think you should read my post again. Nevertheless, aside from the fact that Vuc has sucked it up pretty much the entire season, other than De Rossi, he seems the only player whom Roma can derive a substantial transfer fee. In addition, I have noticed his attitude has changed. He seems angry, bitter, and appears to be a different player than in season's past.

Pocari, Montella was not playing yesterday and his career stats are meaningless. My point is that this is a poor rubentus side and while Storari played out of his mind, particularly in the first half, is that an excuse for going through the motions from about the 55 minute mark? This is a group of losers we have at Roma. It could have been Livorno yesterday, it would not have really mattered because the result would have been the same. When a win is necessary, this bunch goes into the tank and embarrasses themselves in front of an enthusiastic home crowd, time and time again.

I've got to go with the Avocado on this one - it's hard to pin the blame on anyone other than Vooch, thredddzo, however much you like to defend him. He turns up for the big games, but never shows against the mediocre teams when it really counts.
