Yeah, my feelings exactly. He's still only 24, and he was coming off an acl injury. He was an engine before the injury, I would've liked to keep him and see if he could get back to his old form.

Are we being linked to anyone as a replacement?

Zuniga is better than Isla was last season, but isn't close to being as good as what Isla was pre-injury.

Anyway, the Udinese owner is saying the co-ownership between Juve and Udinese will be renewed, then it'll be up to Juve what they want to do with their half of Isla.

Arsewipe close to signing Higuain for around €30m, say the latest reports. Think Juventus are missing out big style on him, i think he's a great striker and exactly the the kind Juve need. Its a reasonable fee for him, too, at least in context of the crazy fees the mega-rich foreign-owned clubs can splash.

Spose Juve will end up with Tevez? Wouldn't be terribly excited about him.

So, all seems to be pretty much done for Tevez.

Fee of around 12m and wages of 5-5.5m per season for three years.

Well I like the Tevez signing.

Sure, there is risk involved, but that was the only way Juve could get their hands on the fabled 'top player'.

I held Suarez up as the ideal partner for Llorente, as an example of a goalscoring SS, and while he isn't as good a player a Suarez, he most certainly fits the type of player I had in my head.

I also think it's a good move to give him No. 10. Other, less established, players may have found it a burden, but I doubt that'll be an issue for Tevez.

Tevez, Llorente and Ogbonna are all solid signings. They fill holes that needed to be filled and they have grit to them.

Tevez will give us a CL threat that is used to the big stage and his work ethic on the pitch will help close out games. Off-field attitude is overrated most of the time. Let's see how Conte handles the prima donna-type player... I believe this will be the first time he has had to.

Juventus havent signed Ogbonna, have they? Is there no rivalry factor to play into this? As in with Ogbonna being a Torino youth product and (vice) captain, signing for their hated rivals? And from Torino's point of view, too, why would they risk the wrath of the fans in selling him to Juventus?

They haven't signed him but are about to.

It'll be for about 8-10m + half of Immobile, it seems.

I've been astonished at how the negotiations just seem to have gone on as if it is a perfectly normal transfer - nothing to suggest the rivalry between the clubs is any sort of complicating factor.

Ah, no they haven't signed him yet... thought they did.

He would be a solid signing but I guess Napoli just entered into the race and we aren't willing to get in a bidding war. Hopefully we will sign him, but who knows.

Believe it or not... i'd sell giovinco and matri. Yep. I said that. We have progressed past the point of needing them.
