Moggi can't even help this team, they can't spend. Moggi spent a lot of money. It paid off but Juve are in such a bad situation financially that they won't be able to rebound. Until they see CL football and bring in revenue (who wants to sit at their games and watch them play anyway) it will get worse.

Moggi actually didn't spend a lot of money Dino. He used the money he made available from moving contracts around to pay for new talent. Moggi could fix this team, but there is too much stubborn pride in the front office to bring him back. Our asshole management would rather bury us alive than become successful again with the old guard. Sad how much pride of a few men can destroy so much.

Marotta plans four signings



Juventus general manager Beppe Marotta feels the club needs to sign “at least another four great players” if they are to be competitive again.

The Old Lady is without a win in four matches and it now looks unlikely that they will qualify for next year's Champions League.

In order to make the jump in quality, Marotta said: “Juventus need at least another four great players. Above all, people of experience who know how to better manage the most difficult situations.”

La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that Marotta is interested in Lyon wing-back Michel Bastos, Milan regista Andrea Pirlo, Barcelona anchorman Javier Mascherano and Roma striker Marco Borriello.

It's just that Gazzetta are guessing, rather than Marotta having actually said those are players of interest.

I'll take Bastos above all those guys. If Marotta thinks those guys are difference makers, then he's wrong. Let's put away the pom-poms for Boriello, the guy isn't that good. I wouldn't take Pirlo or Mascherano either. This club is spending money like a drunken sailor at a titty bar. This shit needs to stop, asap.

5mil a year for Matri is not a bad deal. Borriello is not better than Matri by a long shot.
Bastos is the ideal LM for us, but I would rather spend more money on a support striker, defensive mid, or a center back.

Mascherano is arguably the best DM in the world and for the right place I wouldnt spend too much on a position that could be filled for much cheaper in the market. If Arsenal want Melo so bad, we should use him to knock down the cost of one of their talents.

There are a number of good full backs on free transfers this summer. Sign them.
