Juve swap Palla for Criscito Thursday 18 March, 2010

Juventus have apparently agreed to bring Raffaele Palladino back from Genoa permanently in return for the full rights of Domenico Criscito.

Both players are part-owned by Juventus and Genoa, and Tuttosport understands that talks have been ongoing over the last month to resolve their futures.

Juventus would like Palladino back in Turin this summer, as they look to boost their options on the flanks, which have been lacking since Pavel Nedved's retirement.

In order to do so, they have offered a cash sum and the remaining 50 per cent of Criscito's contract. In total, the cost of the transfer is said to be €10m.

However, the real interest lies in Criscito's long-term future. The 23-year-old defender has attracted the attention of both Milan clubs, but Inter seem ever more likely to be his next destination.

The Nerazzurri have a very strong relationship with Genoa and are believed to be offering David Suazo plus a lump sum for Criscito in the summer.

Genoa President Enrico Preziosi isn't completely sold on the idea just yet though, and is considering asking for Riccardo Quaresma to form part of the deal.

Anyways....this article made me happy when i read the title....then i read what it really implies (thanks to dino teaching me how to read and helping regulate my all fish diet to clear the mercury in my system)......and i become upset.

Sure, Palla is a good player and a good winger, but Criscito is a great defender and has much more potential to improve....and we need defenders!!!

Since Genoa need both Criscito and Palla....then maybe that fuckhead Blanc and the retard Secco should discuss the opposite move instead.....but maybe they need dino to teach them how to do things seeing as he's such a good teacher....

Allowing Criscito to leave just to get Palladino back would possibly be the most illogical transfer move by Juve in recent times, and that is saying something.

Juventus go for Gourcuff

Juventus aim to build their new squad around former Milan flop Yoann Gourcuff, according to reports.

Gourcuff is no stranger to Serie A, having played only a handful of games out of position for the Rossoneri from 2006 to 2008.

At Bordeaux he has become a world class creative midfielder and living up to his billing as ‘the new Zinedine The Bald Algerian.’

According to German website 4-4-2.com, Juventus directors are already close to a deal for the 23-year-old.

They have offered £20m plus another £4m if the club goes on to lift the Champions League.

Gourcuff would receive a five-year contract worth £3.5m per season.

Bordeaux have qualified for the Champions League quarter-finals, in part thanks to the goals of their young French starlet.

He is hot property on the transfer market and has been linked with Bayern Munich, Olympique Lyonnais and even Inter.
