I agree with red. But Mascherano is the guy to buy and would be worth every penny at 15m.

Beck is good, but will be pricey. Bastos is good too, but do we NEED a LM? We have Giovinco, Marchisio, Pepe, Martinez and Lanzafame. I would rather spend the money on the spine of the team right now. We didn't struggle scoring goals when we had Quagliarella. We struggle now due to a lack of structure which stems from a lack of midfield control.

With Bosingwa, Taiwo, and Ziegler on Frees this summer, unless we focus on Italian talent, I would prefer to not spend too much money on a wing back.

This team needs either or second striker in the mold of a Luis Suarez or we need to find another athletic striker to support Matri.

We need and have needed for the past few seasons, a positionally intelligent DM to cover for the lunging challenges of Melo, or to allow a CMer of Marchiso or Aquilani to play with more piece of mind.

We need an experienced Central defender to partner our inexperienced and over-aggressive backs currently on our roster.

We have no sideback, but between Sorensen and (hopefully) Bonucci we can cover that position. Loaning a player in like De Silvestri, Santon or Santacroce would be a nice option for the RB role next season.

The left back position is much more crucial, because as it was in the early seasons with De Ceglie, I LB with a high work rate along the sideline will free up the LM to be more creative and cut inside. Marchisio or Giovinco would be more than fine in this role and we shouldn't spend on this position just yet.

Bastos is a good player, but without proper pieces in other places, next season will be more or the same. Juventus #1 issue is that we lack a positionally sound central midfield. Our #2 problem is that our center backs are both aggressive and stupid. Our third biggest problem is that we lack control at the outside of the opponents box; our attacks break down too quickly and we end up running out of ideas and slapping shitty crosses in. Our fourth biggest issue is the lack of a pacey, work horse along the left flank that can cross. De Ceglie is good, but he is injury prone.

Taye Taiwo is the best option on the market at his FREE price. He is a very good defender, has a nice free kick, is fast, strong, works hard and can cross. His bad side is that he is injury prone, but that could be prevented with a proper rotation of he and De Ceglie.

Balzaretti would have been my #1 choice, but any common sense moves I don't even consider for this squad anymore.
