I keep thinking about this Grosso thing and I will say it is sounding better. Every year I have been begging Juventus to sign Grosso and now might be the right time. He is a big game player, he doesn't play 90 minutes (so De Ceglie will get PT), and he could be included in the Trezeguet deal which if we did sell Trezeguet, we could get Grosso AND money. This is pretty good. Criscito could stay at Genoa for another year and get some UEFA Cup experience.

I am sold on this... Grosso if we sell Trezeguet.

Juve targets emerging

Juventus are weighing up their transfer targets but could also be set to lose one of their promising youngsters according to reports in Italy.

The Bianconeri are looking to strengthen their squad as they prepare to hire their new boss. The first name on their list is Gaetano D’Agostino.

The Udinese player would be ideal to partner Momo Sissoko in midfield, as well as newly signing Diego, but the Friulani have set a high price.

However, Juve’s left-back Paolo De Ceglie could be heading out the door after it was revealed that Liverfekkin'wankscum have cast their eyes over the Italian youngster.

Juve consider Pasqual

Juventus are moving their attention away from Lyon full-back Fabio Grosso and toward Fiorentina's Manuel Pasqual, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Bianconeri are in the market for a left-back, as Cristian Molinaro is out until October at the earliest and Paolo De Ceglie is also struggling with injury.

De Ceglie is likely to be fit in time for the new season, but Juventus are said to be looking for someone with greater experience in Europe.

In that respect, Grosso is the outstanding candidate, having competed in the Champions League with Lyon since 2007.

Lest we forget, Grosso was also a crucial member of the Italy side that won the World Cup in Germany three years ago.

However, Grosso will be 32 in November and another target, the highly rated Lazio full-back Aleksandar Kolarov, costs too much.

Consequently, attention has turned to Pasqual, whose contract with Fiorentina expires in 2010, making him relatively cheap.

The 27-year-old isn't thought to be pursuing a renewal as he has played little this season and is now said to be looking for a new challenge.

Juventus have already contacted his agent and are negotiating a price that will not exceed £5m, according to La Gazzetta.

Pasqual joined Fiorentina from Arezzo in 2005 and has made 95 appearances for the Viola. He also has two caps for Italy.

D'Ago set for Juve

Juventus are expected to sign Udinese midfielder Gaetano D'Agostino by the end of this week, according to the Italian Press.

The 26-year-old former Roma youngster has been a revelation this season, scoring 11 Serie A goals in 36 appearances for the Zebrette.

Juventus are believed to have offered £15m for D'Agostino, who was called up to the Italy squad in November 2008.

Udinese President Giampaolo Pozzo confirmed Juventus' interest in the player during an interview yesterday evening.

Juve weigh up Cruz

Juventus are considering making a daring move for Inter striker Julio Cruz, who is out of contract this summer.

The Bianconeri aren't exactly short of strikers, but have a healthy respect for Cruz, who has a great record against them.

The 34-year-old Cruz has rifled 10 goals past Juventus in his nine years in Italy with Bologna and Inter.

The Bianconeri are being linked with several centre-forwards, perhaps indicating that David Trezeguet will leave this summer.

Vincenzo Iaquinta is also rumoured to be on the move, as Juventus are unwilling to offer him an improvement on his current deal.

Room for Cruz would not be lacking then, if Trezeguet and Iaquinta were to move on, although the club's fans might protest against the transfer.

Juventus supporters were furious when their side were linked with Inter midfielder Dejan Stankovic last summer.

The year before, Stankovic was filmed with his Inter teammates singing anti-Juventus songs during a party to celebrate winning the Scudetto.

Cruz was among them and that could well work against his efforts to move to Turin in time for next season.

The Argentine is in demand, though, and continues to be mentioned in the same breath as Parma, Bologna, Fiorentina and Lazio.
