The minor details are basically him waiting to see if we make the CL.

The Bianconeri could be involved in a swap deal which will see the strikers David Trezeguet and Karim Benzema change places. Juventus have highlighted Lyon hitman Karim Benzema as the perfect replacement for David Trezeguet and could be poised to broker a deal that will see the two prolific strikers swap places this summer.
According to Tuttosport, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas is desperate to sign ‘Trezegol’, who is tied down to Juventus until 2011. However, he could leave well before that as the French outfit are ready to tempt the Italians into parting company with their man. The report suggests Lyon will offer Juventus the services of Benzema in return for ‘Trez’; a deal which would certainly be welcomed in Turin.
Although Trezeguet has been an outstanding and loyal servant over the years for Juve, this season has been less than perfect, leading to suggestions he will leave. The Bianconeri ace recently admitted that he would consider a return to France if he was given the chance.
Juve fans wanting to see Benzema arrive soon will have to wait because an eventual deal is not expected until next season at the earliest. Although a number of top clubs, including Real Madrid and Manchester United, have been linked with ‘Benzinho’, Juve could be in pole position given Aulas’ penchant for Trezeguet.
