We have no idea what kind of coach Ciro is.

I'd take the chance. He's been assistant to Lippi, is familiar with the Juventus players, and there are not a lot of other options available right now. He would be the right man to coach us until the summer, when we could look for a quality coach. Donadoni might be more expensive, and would demand a contract till atleast the summer of 2010, and frankly, I don't think he'd be worth it.

Juventus President Giovanni Cobolli Gigli has promised signings in the New Year and insists he never lost faith in Claudio Ranieri.

The Old Lady's Scudetto hopes have faded somewhat after a poor run in Serie A but a win over Real Madrid in the Champions League has lifted the mood in Turin.

However, Cobolli Gigli admits that new recruits are needed and is ready to open his chequebook in January.

diego has been in the plans for a while. The only thing holding us back is his 30 million euro price tag. We won't pay over 25 mill.

I'm not convinced by Diego.

He is a very good player, but he is over priced and I don't see how he could fit in while Ranieri is coach.

That's the problem. Although, from what I've seen this year he has been playing a little deeper than usually. Maybe he can play cm beside either sissoko or poulsen, instead of playing him behind the strikers.

How about getting Mexes too? I doubt he would go but Roma will most likely get relegated if nobody wants to buy them out.
