I don't know if Juve's supposed interest in Rafa Benitez to replace Ranieri has been discussed already and apologies if it has...Mediaset has been talking about it 2 or 3 times this past few days.

My longtime forum friends like Ahmed, Tony, Angela, and Andrew know I've always maintained that Ranieri at best was and is only a safe pair of hands, just good enough to guide la vecchia signora through the rebuilding process until someone better could be found. I also said I felt this season would be his last as allenatore despite statements to the contrary from the upper management. In Ranieri's favour I said Juve could have done a lot worse but it would seem the recent negative results have started the rumour mongers' tongues with the Rijkaard and Donadoni mentions.

I doubt Benitez would quit the 'Pool and for what it's worth I don't see Frank Rijkaard or Roberto Donadoni doing significantly better than Ranieri. I guess we'll be hearing Vialli's name next...

Benitez doesn't have long left on his Liverfekkin'wankscum contract.

I am assuming his agent is starting these rumours to try and get Liverfekkin'wankscum to offer Benitez a new deal.

ya, that's all it is. Rafa's contract is up next year, I believe, and he wants an extension. IMO, Prandelli is still the best coach we've been linked with, I doubt we'll be able to pull him away from fiorentina though....
