I have to say that Zoff82 has a point here. I myself after watching our performance and most importantly our results against the Calcio big guns in the last campaign, I have to say that we could have crowned champions if it wasn't for the Cacio minnows and underdogs.

Interesting point Ahmed. We all know what we missed out on and could've had a better campaign. Again, it was Ranieri's first year with this team and it isn't easy switching from EPL to Serie A. How is this for a laugh??? Milan bid 11 mil (pounds I think) for Dinho. The question here is: with CL football and a good team around Juve, why haven't we made that bid??? Instead of going for Alonso, getting Dinho would've been better.

I can't question Ronaldinho's talent and ability, despite warming the bench for most of the last season and despite putting on some weight. Although, I don't think he's the right man for our midfield only from the tactical point of view. In 4-4-2, I prefer midfielders like Nedved, Hamsik, Seedorf, Camoranesi, etc...In other words, players who are half wingers and can share defensive duties with the centre midfielders, certainly it all depends on a match's situation and scoreline. Ronaldinho would be enormously effective to any team whose coach adopts 4-3-3 or 4-3-2-1, as far as I'm concerned.

we aren't going for dinho because raneri doesn't like an attacking midfielder. The only place he could play is LM and we already have that position covered nicely with giovinco and neddy. Instead of buying players to fit into raneri's formation, maybe we should be buying players and making a formation around them. But what do I know?

As for poulsen we'll see what he's got. He knows the fans hate him so he has a lot to prove. Let's see if he's got the talent to prove us wrong, I for one hope he does. The fans weren't excited about momo's transfer but he won everyone over.

But, in order to open a team up with passing you need to lure them into the CM. We can't just keep smashing the ball towards the goal. Sometime you need to let the opposition pass the ball around, build up false confidence and allow them to get into your zone. This leaves the backside much more open for a counter attack. Even if we had Xabi Alonso last year, his great passing would just be floating into a box with 10 defenders in it.

Giovinco will be a huge asset in the counter attack game, and is one of the main reasons I would like to see him used in ADP's role. He is extremely fast and can make great passes in full stride.

Molinaro is someone I like to root for because he is Italian and he always gives 110%. It is certainly not his effort that he is short on. Unfortunately, it is his talent. He was good in big games, but was really bad against smaller opponents. Hopefully, De Ceglie blossoms this year, because he has the talent to explode.

Stankovic To Juve On Loan?

Juventus could now be set to sign Inter Milan midfielder Dejan Stankovic on loan, according to the Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Bianconeri have all but completed the signing of Danish international Christian Poulsen from Sevilla, however Juve’s midfield department is still far from complete.

The news of Poulsen’s capture has been met with incredulity by Juve’s fans, who believe that, with the likes of Cristiano Zanetti and Momo Sissoko already at the club, what is really needed is a creative or attacking midfielder.

One offensive option that the Old Lady have been pursuing this summer is Inter’s Dejan Stankovic, and indeed a couple of weeks ago it was reported that a deal to sign the Serbian international had all but been arranged.

However, the Bianconeri supporters then campaigned against the possible transfer, claiming that they did want a Nerazzurro, who had spoken against Juve in the past, to join.

The deal was not completed, however the Gazzetta dello Sport is today claiming that Stankovic may still end up in Turin next season.

Sporting director Alessio Secco is lining up a loan move for the 30-year-old, and there is every chance of this being successful, as Inter boss Jose Mourinho has made it perfectly clear that Stankovic is not in his first team plans.

He is the best CM we have been linked with and since he is not a natural CM and can play as an AM or as a SM, it makes him even more of a good signing. I would not mind this move at all, even though I have hated him for a long time. If he were to accept Juventus, we should accept him, becuase his class and experience is really important.

Sissoko was quoted saying that he doesn't think Alonso will leave.

As much as I would like to sign Senna, I wouldn't be suprised if Ranieri just opts to keep Tiago on the bench and sell Almiron.
