Andrea Stramaccioni will field a youthful Inter side in their Europa League game against Rubin Kazan on Thursday.
With qualification to the knock-out stages already secured and problems with injuries, the Beneamata may have an unfamiliar look about them tomorrow night.
“This match against Rubin is an important moment for our youth academy, where I come from myself, because it's an opportunity to see if some of these youngsters might be ready if they're called upon,” the tactician noted.
“Although we don't have all the big names here with us, I'm sure that the youngsters and the others who play tomorrow will do well.
“We've got 10 lads here under the age of 21, some of them will definitely play.
“If in the early stage of the Europa League we made changes through choice, now we're doing it out of necessity.”
Although the result doesn’t matter for the Italian giants, the former Primavera boss is hoping for a decent display.
“Since the draw was made we knew that we'd have three long away trips,” he added. “We've done two and tomorrow we're up against Rubin, who are top-class opposition, the best in the group along with us.
“We'll give it a go tomorrow, but once we get to the knockout phase it will definitely be more difficult to change so many players because the team as a unit will be important.”
Italian giants Inter have announced that they have appealed against the suspensions of Antonio Cassano and Andrea Stramaccioni.
The Beneamata two were handed bans on Monday in the aftermath of their protests at the end of the 2-2 draw with Cagliari.
Cassano has been given a two-match suspension after he verbally abused the match officials in the tunnel after the final whistle.
Boss Stramaccioni, meanwhile, was given a one-match touchline ban after he was dismissed following the referee’s decision to not award his side a late penalty.

Inter paid the price for fielding an inexperienced second-string side and were beaten 3-0 by Rubin Kazan, though Rodrigo Palacio hit the woodwork.
These two sides were joint leaders of the group and already qualified going in, so the only thing to be decided was who would finish top. Andrea Stramaccioni did not seem to be concerned, as he fielded a second string side with many young and inexperienced players.
The gamble immediately hit a problem when Rubin took the lead at the second minute. Juan Jesus tried to clear an Alan Kasaev cross out for a corner, but instead hit it on to his own upright and Gokdeniz Karadeniz was quick to pounce for a tap-in.
Yet there was also bad news for Rubin, who lost Roman Eremenko to injury moments later. Inter tried to fight back and threatened with Philippe Coutinho and Alvaro Pereira attempts turned out for a corner and 18-year-old Marco Benassi drilling off target from distance.
Nerazzurri defenders did enough to stop Vladimir Dyadyun turning to get his shot away in the box, while at the other end 19-year-old Andrea Romanò wasted by firing wide from a promising position and Coutinho’s touch was too heavy after he had dribbled past two men.
Acknowledging the lack of experience, Stramaccioni introduced Rodrigo Palacio and Javier Zanetti for the second half. Within the opening minute, Walter Gargano’s snapshot had tested the goalkeeper and Palacio drilled wide soon after.
Coutinho went through thanks to a give-and-go with Palacio, but his strike missed the target. Palacio was unlucky not to draw Inter level on 65 minutes, as he sprung the offside trap on an Andrea Ranocchia pass only to see his daisy-cutter crack against the upright.
Bad news for Ranocchia, who had just returned from an injury lay-off and requested a substitution.
Coutinho burst past two players with some wonderful footwork and flicked the ball over them, but the finish was scuffed into the arms of the goalkeeper.
Rubin Kazan held on under pressure and doubled their lead in the final minutes with Rondon, who sprung the offside trap to go one-on-one with 17-year-old Donkor and drill past the goalkeeper.
Substitute Rondon added a third in stoppages when set up by Gokdeniz Karadeniz in the six-yard box.

Andrea Stramaccioni insists he is “happy to have given so many youngsters their debut” despite Inter’s 3-0 defeat to Rubin Kazan.
The teams were level at the top of the table, but today’s result means the Russians will qualify as the leaders with Inter second.
“Right now it does irritate me to have lost this way. We took the initiative for 70 minutes in a difficult arena against a team that was at full-strength,” said the Coach.
“We conceded the goals at the very start and the very end. We fielded a very young team and gave a debut to our ninth Primavera youth team player this season, proving our academy is prolific and sending a good sign for all of Italian football.
“I therefore compliment Romanò, Benassi and Donkor. We are happy to have given so many youngsters their debut in Europe.”
Anzhi manager Guus Hiddink has refused to confirm or deny talks for Inter’s Wesley Sneijder. “Ask him what he intends to do.”
Hiddink was interviewed after tonight’s 2-0 Europa League victory against Udinese, which put the Russians through to the next round.
“I know Sneijder well and I appreciate him. Ask him what he intends to do,” replied the Dutch tactician.
Sneijder has been repeatedly linked with a move away from Inter, especially after he was banned by the club from posting on his Twitter account.
The creative midfielder has been out of action with a thigh strain, but while he maintains that he is now fit, Coach Andrea Stramaccioni continues to leave him out.
Dejan Stankovic and Cristian Chivu took part in Inter training on Friday as they continue their lengthy rehabilitation from injury.
The veterans are two of the most experienced in the Nerazzurri squad, but they have yet to make a Serie A appearance this season because of fitness issues.
Stankovic, 34, worked with the squad for around 30 minutes on Friday, while the 32-year-old Romanian took part in the end of session training match.

Inter director Marco Branca has confirmed Wesley Sneijder “will not play until we have made the necessary modifications to his contract” – a pay cut or January sale.
Sneijder has insisted for several weeks that he is getting back to full fitness and ready to play, but has been left out by Coach Andrea Stramaccioni and was banned by the club from using Twitter.
Amid reports of a bid from Russian side Anzhi, today technical director Branca announced the real reason behind his absence.
“We is part of our history and we care for him, but we are discussing a necessary contract modification with him,” Branca told Sky Sport Italia.
“We will give him and his entourage the time to evaluate our proposal, so the decision not to use the player can be traced back to this wait for a more relaxed and clear situation.
“The club and Coach are in agreement that until the player is in a clear state of mind, he will not play.”
Sneijder is Inter’s top earner on €6m per season and the club is eager to slice down its wage bill even further after off-loading Julio Cesar, Lucio and Douglas Maicon.
It is thought unlikely that the Dutchman will accept a pay cut when he is being offered considerably higher wages at Manchester City, Manchester United and Anzhi, so a January move looks inevitable.

You all want to get rid of Sneijder? Why is that? Just because of money (save on wages and cash in on him before his value decreases)? He is still a quality player though, is he not?
Andrea Stramaccioni tries to keep Inter focused on tomorrow’s game with Parma, but admits he hopes “the Wesley Sneijder situation can be resolved.”
This weekend director Marco Branca confirmed Sneijder will not play until he agrees to a new contract with reduced wages, making a January exit very likely.
“I speak daily with both Wesley and the President. I know the situation,” said Coach Stramaccioni in today’s Press conference.
“I think it is simpler than people may think. Over the summer Inter decided to have some very clear guidelines that we wanted to use throughout the transfer campaign.
“Within this idea of the club, that must be respected and shared, we have to understand the position of the player.
“I have enormous respect for Wesley as a player and a man, but right now my position as Coach is not to use him as a technical decision based on what I see in training. That is my evaluation, obviously hoping they can sit round a table and the situation can be resolved.
“Having said that, I will go to Parma with the best players at my disposal and decide not to use Sneijder.”
Inter are playing at the Tardini on Monday evening, kick-off 20.00, due to their Europa League commitments.
“We have not been very fortunate in recent games, but I am certain the best team will win in Parma. I’d like to thank our lawyers for helping to get my touchline ban revoked. I may well have deserved a red card against Cagliari for my protests, but I didn’t offend anyone, so a ban was harsh. It’s not my style.”
Antonio Cassano and Walter Gargano are suspended, while Joel Obi, Cristian Chivu, Gaby Mudingayi and Dejan Stankovic are still injured.
“With Gargano’s ban it becomes crucial that we get Fredy Guarin back to full fitness,” concluded Stramaccioni.
“We are missing five players in midfield, so we are having problems there and Fredy becomes very important.”
A wonderful second half strike from Nicola Sansone gave Parma a 1-0 home victory over Inter.
Ricardo Alvarez was given his first start of the season at Stadio Ennio Tardini as the Nerazzurri looked to keep up the pressure on League leaders Juventus.
It was the home team though, who started the brighter of the two – within the opening few moments, Jonathan Biabiany cross was deflected towards goal by Walter Samuel, but Samir Handanovic was there to acrobatically tip the ball away.
Slowly though, the San Siro started to get back in the game and dominated possession with their South American triumvirate. It was the Colombian of that trio – Fredy Guarin – who almost opened the scoring for the Milanese giants, as he rifled a long-range free kick just wide of the post.
Roberto Donadoni's men weren't going down quietly however, and continued to cause problems down both flanks. Sansone was pacey down the left, but it was Biabiany who teed up Amauri late in the half, only for Handanovic, again, to make a vital stop.
After the break, the Gialloblu continued where they had left off with Biabiany really tormenting Juan Jesus. The French winger tricked his way past the Brazilian and almost crossed for Sansone – Andrea Stramaccioni’s side though, remained tight.
Guarin powered a rasping shot straight down the throat of Antonio Mirante, but apart from that, the visiting team offered very little in front of goal.
And they were made to pay for their lack of forward intent with 15 minutes remaining. Sansone collected the ball on the halfway line, skipped past two challenges, before rifling a low drive past Handanovic on the edge of the area.
A late effort from Philippe Coutinho forced Mirante into a good save, but the Crociati held out for a deserved win.
