Inter boss Jose Mourinho has interrupted his Press silence to clarify a few matters regarding his team.

The Special One has kept quiet ever since last month's match against Sampdoria in which he made the now infamous handcuff gesture.

Asked if his absence from the bench affects the team, he said: “But I don't play. I don't score. I don't make saves. If the team plays well with the right attitude, there is no need for a Coach to be on the bench to win.

“You need a Coach when a team lacks concentration, intensity and aggressiveness: then the Coach can try and help the team, but if he is far from the players, he cannot do anything.â€

Lazio set Kolarov price

Lazio apparently want to get their money's worth when Inter return for Aleksandar Kolarov this summer, whacking an €18m price tag on the Serb.

The Nerazzurri were in negotiations for the 24-year-old during the January transfer window, but Claudio Lotito drove a hard bargain.

Inter's chief technical director Marco Branca is said to have offered Lazio €12m plus Rene Krhin and another top prospect from the club's academy.

But according to reports in Italy, Lotito will only accept a lump sum of €18m, something Inter might not be willing to pay considering they already have a top prospect in Davide Santon at full-back.

Kolarov has already expressed his desire to join Inter and reunite with former Lazio teammate Goran Pandev who left the capital in January.

He also intimated that there is very little chance of him extending his existing deal with the Biancocelesti beyond 2011.

It will be a tough match against Catania. I just hope we pull 3 points as IMO, thinking about killing this match early to get Milito some rest is waaayy to optimistic. I believe I heard that Catania hasnt lost since december or something like that. Good news is that their most inform player, LLama, just got injured for about 4 months.

Intervenuto all'Ansa, il fratello-procuratore di Mario Balotelli, Corrado, è esploso contro l'opinione pubblica: "Fino ad oggi la famiglia non ha mai reagito alle cose che ha dovuto sentire. Ora però si è superata la misura. Basta mettere Mario in mezzo – afferma all’Ansa – a beghe da condominio alle quali lui è estraneo! L’entourage di Balotelli non piace a qualcuno? È un problema loro, a noi non interessa. Ci interessa solo il bene di Mario e lui è più che soddisfatto e orgoglioso di avere un team di professionisti che lo seguono per fargli avere il meglio e il cui lavoro è unanimemente apprezzato non solo in Italia, ma anche a livello internazionale".

Dopo la precisazione, arriva un'ulteriore notizia a dir poco clamorosa: Mino Raiola, procuratore di Ibra e Maxwell del quale l'Inter pareva essersi liberata, assiste SuperMario: "Sia chiaro a tutti che la famiglia gli sarà sempre accanto, ma poichè noi fratelli abbiamo le nostre professioni (io e Giovanni abbiamo una nostra società di pannelli fotovoltaici, Pandora, e Cristina fa la giornalista), ci avvaliamo di un team di esperti dei quali Mario è molto contento. Sul piano del mercato è assistito dall’agente Mino Raiola, sul piano legale dall’avvocato Vittorio Rigo". La notizia, diffusa già da Sky in serata, è stata così confermata.

So, is Balo actually injured or it is a cover up for him nor being called up? Any updates on that.
