Never heard of him. We will need another CM or possibly two for next season though. Hopefully we get a CDM more like Essien who can play the ball and get forward instead of a pure destroyer who's days are numbered by the looks of things.
[quote="Totally FRANK"][quote="Lombardiamia"]Anyone knows the guy?

No way we should be paying 12 mil for Galloppa. That's simply and inflated price because he's Italian. If he was Brazilian, you'd buy him for 4 million. Fuck that. We know we'll be waiting another 2 - 3 years to have a couple more Italians in our first team that have been brought up from the Prima but I'm willing to wait.
Tbh I've only ever seen him once but I'd still prefer Pandev; he's a player of top quality, we can register him as a home grown player in the CL, he'll actually be able to play in the rest of this years CL where Dominguez won't and he's 26 as well as already being adapted to the Italian league. Pandev is a MUST imo and once we get him, send Arna back to Twente and Suazo should be sold/loaned as well. If you were to buy Pandev in top form right this moment without this whole situation, you'd pay probably 15 - 20 mil where as we can get him for about 6 - 7 and some young'uns from the Prima. Most of all, Juve won't get him which makes it all the more sweeter.
But I never said Dominguez (thanks for reminding me his name) should be brought in instead of Pandev.. It is quite obvious that we need another midfielder come january, but I guess we wont be spending anything. So why not a very good, talented midfielder for free? Sure he cant play in the Cl this year, but that's not saying much, considering that in recent years we only played 2 matches in the CL after january...That apart, we do know that we have some instable midfielders in there like Sneijder (plays 2 games and is injured for 3), Motta (plays a game and injured for months) and lately even Cambiasso. Apart from that, isnt Muntari going to the African's cup too in january? That makes for another midfield spot less...He could be very usefull when it come to rotation. And he is much better than Galloppa....
I thought he just played as a striker, which he has been mostly, but also AM which I just read on Wiki. I still don't see us going for him, though it is clear we need a midfielder, especially if Vieira leaves in Jan.
I knew Dominguez wanted to leave Rubin but didn't know he was on a free transfer. He would be a good buy but unless he can play in different positions other than the tip of the diamond i don't think we will go for him considering the fact that we will get Coutinho next summer.
From what I have seen of Galloppa, he is a constant worker and always works his socks off. He is not going to be a starter for us but he can be a good team player. Don't the new Fifa rules come into play from next year. He could be very useful then and also he is a life long Inter supporter.
Barca Swine Flu duo miss Inter - Saturday 21 November, 2009
Barcelona will welcome Inter next week without Eric Abidal or Yaya Toure, as both have contracted swine flu.
The Spanish side confirmed the infection within their ranks that rules out the two stars for Tuesday’s Champions League showdown.
"Abidal and Toure have viral-like symptoms with fever and general discomfort," read a statement on FCBarcelona.cat.
"Relevant tests have been carried out on both players and these have confirmed that it is swine flu.”
If the virus spreads, then there is the possibility Barcelona could ask for the game to be postponed, although UEFA have already made it clear they will only do this when a squad is ‘decimated’ by the illness.
It is nonetheless a heavy blow for the Blaugrana, who could also miss Zlatan Ibrahimovic due to injury.
"This Friday at midday the club's medical services informed that Abidal had swine flu and in the afternoon the tests carried out confirmed that Toure was also suffering from it,” continued Barcelona’s statement.
"The medical services are working following the protocols established by the health department isolating the players, carrying out symptomatic treatment and giving appropriate hygienic measures."
Swine flu, also known as the H1N1 virus, has hit La Liga hard, as four Osasuna players and 13 from Real Betis have been diagnosed.
Probably the two players they could afford to lose. They'll replace Abidal with Maxwell and Yaya with Keita so no real advantage there for us. Ibra could be a big blow as they'd probably move Henry to the centre and Pedro on the right but I think he'll play.
So Bologna tonight. We've got a full squad minus Sneijder and Mou said he won't be resting players since the Barca game is not do or die. From the sounds of things, we're going to hope for the best at at Barca and try and get the job done vs Rubin. Good news is Barca also have Real Madrid right after us so it's probably as good a time to play them as ever.
Inter & Arsenal To Swap Mario Balotelli & Cesc Fabregas - Report
There are suggestions in Italy that an unlikely move could be brokered between the Nerazzurri and the Gunners...
Inter and Arsenal could be about to enter negotiations for a deal that would see Mario Balotelli swap places with Francesc Fabregas.
According to Tuttosport, Balotelli's relationship with coach Jose Mourinho has become strained this season, and the Italian striker could be put on the transfer market.
Recent developments between the duo have not been encouraging, leading to speculation that the point of no return has already been reached.
The report suggests Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is a fan of the young striker and he is following him with interest.
The Turin-based paper claims the clubs will welcome the chance to swap their talents, with Fabregas heading to Milan and 'SuperMario' going the other way.
It is said Fabregas is Mourinho's first choice for his midfield.
Despite the report, neither club has passed comment.
Nah. I can't see us signing any more players in that sort of price range. Chelsea will probably have a free run at him.
Great game against Bologna. Not sure how we didn't win 10 - 0. Maicon really fucked up though; 1 min to go and getting pissed because of a throw in? Fuck that. My memories pretty shady but in Italia, is it a normal 1 game ban for the straight red or is it 3? If it's 3, he misses the Juve game.
Edit: it's only one game so he'll miss the Fio game.
Because of Maicon's red card, we might finally see our preferred midfield four of Sneijder,Cambiasso,Motta and Stankovic against Fiorentina.
Motta really adds some solidity and calmness to our midfield along with his quick one touch passing. Nothing more to add from the game, another routine win.
Thousands of people have played some small part in the Serie A story. Many of them have enjoyed glorious and illustrious careers, but only a handful have truly transformed the game. Helenio Herrera was one of them.
It is impossible to avoid the conclusion that his arrival at Inter was one of the watershed moments in Italian football. Nothing was quite the same from that day on. Imagine the seismic impact Arrigo Sacchi had when he took over at Milan, and then multiply it a few times. That was the effect of the man they called Il Mago – The Wizard.
The way he moved Serie A forward was as much about his personality as his methods. Prior to HH, the role of the Coach did not have the importance it carries now. Many of them were paternal characters, as much a figurehead for the club as anything else. Herrera put the man on the bench at centre stage. Everything at Internazionale revolved around him. In many ways he paved the way for the most egocentric managers of the modern era. Is it any wonder the Nerazzurri hierarchy was so keen to hire Jose Mourinho?
As a player, Herrera’s career was mediocre. Having left his native Argentina as a child, his family moved to North Africa, which opened the doors to French football. He enjoyed about 12 years as a decent defender, but nothing more than that. By the time he reached his 30s, however, he was ripe for the move into management.
There were hints in Spain of what the boy from Buenos Aires would achieve in Italy. Firstly, he steered Atletico Madrid to a couple of League titles in the early 1950s. Then, by the end of the decade, he looked set to take Barcelona on to major glory. He took them to two League titles and the Fairs Cup – the precursor to the UEFA Cup – but beneath the surface all was not well. Defeat to Real Madrid in the European Cup, combined with increasing interest from Inter, meant his relationship with the Blaugrana had come to the end of the road.
Football history is littered with these strange moments. The player or Coach discarded by one club who goes on to become a legend at another. Who knows what Herrera might have achieved had he remained at Barcelona? While Inter fans might never have enjoyed the greatest single spell of success in their history had he stayed put.
His mere trophy count over eight years at San Siro was astounding. All the honours came packed in an intense spell between 1963 and 1966. The Nerazzurri won three Scudetti, two European Cups and two Club World Cups. They had gone from being one of Italy’s biggest teams to being one of the top outfits on the planet.
At the very heart of this revolution was Herrera. Club owner and petrol magnate Angelo Moratti had already been in charge for five years when he eventually got the boss he wanted. He was convinced that he had found the man to break Milan and Juventus’ dominance of the League table. He was right.
“We changed a lot of Coaches, we changed a lot of players and we spent a lot of money,â€
