I don't mean any seriousness by this and its just a joke but don't you find it funny that Juve are on top and we are getting fucked over by this ref again...
lol, yeh I looked at it and this is my take on each call:
1) Ibra is clearly offside, all the players stop, yet he boots the ball away. correct call 2) Pele's first yellow was harsh, second was cynical harsh call 3) Straight red for Muntari? If so, harsh call 4) Snjieder second-yellow for appluading, v cheeky, correct call 5) Lucio, blocked ball with hand 3 yards out, automatic red-card, correct call 6) Cordoba last man foul, red card, correct call 7) Obi, first yellow very harsh, second was a yellow (if not a peno) harsh call 8 ) Last one, against Napoli, he was correct, Inter had completely lost their cool, and in fact when I was watching it i thought Julio Cesar was lucky not to get red, he was out of control, correct call
lol, sorry lads, but its easy to see why conspiracy theories are so popular in Italy.
Common sense should prevail, of course, but it rarely does in this game. Soccer is far from perfect. Rules are rules and that was a yellow card.
I didnt realise that was a first yellow for Lucio (the Snjeider applause foul), but for his handball block, a handball in the box which blocks a shot which is likely going to be a goal is a straight red offence, anyway. Lucio probably didnt mean it, he was right in front of him, but it was almost certainly a goal.
Yes your right, this ref has made a few mistakes against you, and its being highlighted, but thats all it is, no conspiracy or anything.
Wesley Sneijder is hoping to be available for Inter’s trip to Catania when Serie A resumes following the international break.
The Dutchman has yet to play under new boss Claudio Ranieri after picking up an injury in training ahead of the Bologna game.
The attacking midfielder missed that tie and Saturday’s 3-0 loss to Napoli, but he’s hoping to be in contention for a starting shirt at the Stadio Massimino.
The Nerazzurri have had a torrid start to the season given that they have collected just four points from five League games.
The San Siro giants began the campaign under the guidance of boss Gian Piero Gasperini, but he was axed after a defeat at Novara.
Inter chief Massimo Moratti has revealed that he wanted to sign Ezequiel Lavezzi in the summer, while he rejected bids for Douglas Maicon.
The Nerazzurri brought in Diego Forlan and Mauro Zarate following the departure of Samuel Eto’o, but only after they failed in a bid for the Napoli forward.
“It’s true,” Moratti told the Corriere dello Sport. “I did talk to Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, who is a dear friend, about Lavezzi.
“He has great talent and an excellent change of pace, but the player is very attached to Napoli.”
The oil baron was also questioned about Maicon, the right-back whose San Siro future continues to be a topic for discussion.
“Having him back in the side after injury is very important,” Moratti added. “Offers did arrive over the summer for him, but we never took them into consideration.
“He’s an essential player for us.”
Inter have had a disastrous start to the season having collected just four points from five Serie A games.
“The League table makes for some strange reading,” added Moratti. “However, I have faith that this squad can do well.
“A bit of everything has happened this season – a change of formation, a change of Coach [from Gian Piero Gasperini to Claudio Ranieri], the [controversial] loss to Napoli…
“Let’s not look back or too far forward. We have to take it a game at a time.”
Surely wouldn't be a bad idea...but I doubt it'd be feasable.
Destinatario Massimo Moratti, a Milano, in Italia.
“Avete bisogno di me?
Specie se verosimilmente saremo costretti a recuperare i punti persi all’inizio.
Inter President Massimo Moratti has reassured Anzhi that he does “not know anything about” a Samuel Eto’o return.
The media in Russia and Italy was lit up today by reports Eto’o will come to San Siro in January and February, when the Russian Premiershit is on its winter break.
“I was away until today, so do not know anything about this Eto’o story,” declared Moratti to journalists.
“I read the newspapers and saw a very aggressive reaction from the Russian club, but they should know it’s all news to me. I have not discussed anything with Eto’o, so...
“Would I like the idea? It’s a bit strange, but I tend to respect the agreements made with his club.
“Of course it’s pleasing that the player would gladly like to return with us, but I think it’s pointless talking about it, because in all honesty I know less than you do.
“We absolutely did not discuss the possibility of a loan during his transfer negotiations.
“The squad is very fond of Eto’o, but I repeat there is no point talking about this because it is 90 per cent unlikely to happen. I have no basis to comment on.”
Forlan out for possibly two months. Our injury list keeps on growing, quite contrary to the points we are collecting this season. This may be the only chance Zarate gets to show his worth.
I'm starting to think that this will be one of those seasons where everything will go against us. Injuries, ref decisions, wrong decisions in transfer window etc.
I'm not very hopeful for tonight's game. Catania is a difficult ground for everyone. Maybe Zarate's velocity could provide decisive for us, but I don't think we'll see him starting.
Catania shocks Inter at home – Updated Oct 15, 2011 2:27 PM ET
Inter Milan’s run of poor form continued as Catania came from behind to beat Claudio Ranieri’s side 2-1 in Serie A on Saturday. The result leaves Inter, which has one win from six games, languishing just outside the relegation zone, while Catania move into sixth ahead of the weekend’s remaining games.
Esteban Cambiasso gave Inter the perfect start when he volleyed in Maicon’s cross. That seemed to spark Catania into life but it could not find a way past a solid Inter defense.
But the match was turned on its head in five second-half minutes as Sergio Almiron leveled just after the restart.
Francesco Lodi then put Catania in front from the penalty spot in the 50th minute after Inter goalkeeper Luca Castellazzi brought down Gonzalo Bergessio.
Claudio Ranieri concedes Inter lost their shape in the second half. “We want to react and climb back up the hill.”
The Nerazzurri were leading 1-0 in Catania before letting in two goals right after the restart.
“We needed to pick up points and had been achieving that, but after the break conceded two counter-attacks straight away,” said the Coach.
“We should’ve stayed united and solid, as we were in the first half. Now we’ve got to stay calm and continue working, because there’s a lot to do.
“I had asked the team to keep their shape. Now we want to react and climb back up the hill.”
In their last game Ranieri had been furious with the referee, but had no issues at the Stadio Massimino.
“The penalty was understandable, as it’s difficult for the referee to see the goalkeeper had taken his hands away before Gonzalo Bergessio fell. In my view, he officiated well.”
Inter Milan have been dealt a blow ahead of Tuesday's Champions League tie against Lille, with Walter Samuel will unavailable due to injury. The centre back suffered the injury, to the flexor muscle in his right leg, during Inter's 2-1 Serie A loss to Catania on Saturday.
The 33-year-old underwent tests at the San Matteo Polyclinic after suffering pain in the rear of his leg in the match in Sicily, and he is expected to miss around two weeks.
That rules Samuel out of beleaguered boss Claudio Ranieri's squad for Tuesday's trip to Lille.
Inter sit second in Champions League Group B, one point behind Turkish leaders Trabzonspor.
I thought that up till the 7th minute of the first half, we played really well. Why dont football matches end after 7 minutes?? I blame that on the ref..puh.
