Inter hatch Rossi plan

Napoli already showed an interest, but now Inter are also planning to swoop for Giuseppe Rossi next summer.

The Villarreal talent had been very close to making his return to Serie A last month with Juventus and Napoli in negotiations.

Barcelona also pushed hard for the Italian international before opting for Udinese’s Alexis Sanchez instead.

It is reported that Inter are already planning to make their move next summer and setting aside €25m for Rossi.

They’ll face competition, as Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis has already said he’ll do everything he can to bring the striker to the Stadio San Paolo next season.

Re: Forlan and CL, yes, it was a huge gaffe by our management. In any case as someone said, I still expect Inter to win the group (anyone remembers when was the last time we won our group ... we managed to come second even in a group where Spurs was the next best team!)

red I don't really bother about what Italian journalists say anymore ... prior to this summer, they speculated endlessly every day about the big stars that should have joined the Serie A. At the end, no big star joined - the biggest one, Eto'o left as did other promising players like Sanchez & Pastore.

Nope. 5M is the amount due to Forlan by Atl. Madrid as 'arretrati'. Practically we paid those 5M in order to secure the deal but he then reduced his wages in order to accomodate a new contract.
