Mourinho said himself that first contact was made AFTER the Liverfekkin'wankscum game when Mancio had already fucked up and said he was going to quit at seasons end. Did you see how we performed in the second half of last season? We managed to take something like a 12 point lead and only win the title with 30 minutes of the season remaining thanks only to Ibra. The way the team went from totally dominating all opposition to playing like a Serie B team was alarming.

Let me ask one question though.. IF Mourinho is able to win the CL during the term of his contract, would you still have wanted for Mancini to be managing Inter?

We can't judge him after 3 months briz. If he gets knocked out of the CL in the first knock-out stage and we finish in 4th position then we can go nuts. But if we win the Scudetto and make it deep into the CL then what have we lost with Mancio being sacked?

IMO, every cycle has it’s beginning and its end. Mancini opened HIS cycle at Inter, with a ‘just above average’ first 2 seasons. After that, everyone has to admit that we were facilitated by the events that happened. Juve going to Serie B and having to sell some of its best elements (two of which to us) and Milan with docked points + losing their best striker (Sheva) and not replacing their ageing squad. Surely, they have to bear their own responsibilities (this directed to the Juve fans in particular), but we cant not take this into the frame when judging performances. Nowadays, Juve & Milan seem to be back to where they should be, hence the competition is much more fierce. Let’s also not forget Napoli & Fiorentina who in my opinion have become very good, solid squads over the years.
We might talk till no end once again about this issue, but even though Mou is playing with last year’s Serie A winners players, this is not his team. I never really questioned Mancini’s abilities until after a year and a half of his reign at Inter, and surely, I will do just the same with Mourinho. I am willing to wait how Mourinho can make this team really his own, then I’ll start passing judgements. I certainly hope that we win the scudetto and make it deep in the CL this year, but even if that doesn’t happen, I will still wait further. This is a transition year IMO, and as any transition year, it can go well or wrong. The important thing is that we can consolidate a solid base on which to develop our future, and I do think that our solid base is there and its pretty much solid. The players just need to fully assimilate what the manager wants from them. Their minds already know what he expects, but their body will take time to adapt to perform something new in a natural manner. It happened 4 years ago and it is happening again now. Time…..time & patience.

Agent: Inter-est In Crespo Is For Real

Hernan Crespo's agent Fernando Hidalgo admits Real Madrid are interested in his client, but he is staying quiet over any potential deal...

The Inter striker has hardly been used by coach Jose Mourinho and has warned that he'll consider leaving if he doesn't start getting regular games under his belt.

With Ruud Van Nistelrooy out for the rest of the season, Real's attentions have focussed on bringing a hit-man who can guarantee goals week in, week out.

The Argentinean striker falls into the category and his agent has revealed the Spanish giants have been in touch.

"One thing is for sure and that is Real Madrid are interested," Hidalgo told AS.

"However, for now I cannot comment any further."

Crespo on the other hand was caught unaware by the reported news.

"All this is a surprise to me," the striker is quoted as saying in Tuttosport.

Nevertheless, the chances of the hit-man's move to Los Merengues are increasing.

The former Chelsea and Milan man would rather swap leagues and play regular football in Spain rather than watch his team-mates from the bench or, sometimes, from the stands.

Lol good call. No doubt it's shit to have Cordoba out but they don't have Buffon or Trez so we can't really complain about missing players. Also, if there's any positive about having Matrix in the team it would be his height to go up against Amauri. If Burdisso plays, we'll concede at least 2 but im confident that Matrix and Samuel can hold them out.

Now there's international fixtures right? What a shit time for such meaningless, bullshit and usless games.

Of course there are south american matches MI. Maicon, Julio Cesar & Mancini are called up for Brazil. Burdisso is certainly called up for Argentina (Zanetti & Cambiasso arent, if I'm not mistaken), Obinna has a friendly in Colombia, Zlatan is called up by Sweden & so is Vieira....I'm not sure if there are others. The South Americans will return on thursday or friday.
Anyway, good result yesterday, and the 4-4-2 is certainly better for us, but it didnt really solve our scoring problems. Zlatan did.
