Adriano Buys €10,000 Mobile And Ignores Old Coach In Shop

It seems that there is till no love lost between former Inter coach Roberto Mancini and Adriano after both players ignored each other in a luxury mobile phone shop in Milan, according to Il Giornale...

Adriano never saw eye to eye with his old coach at Inter and many will remember the bad blood between them which led to the striker being sent out on loan to Sao Paolo last season.

Both the striker and Mancini were unexpectedly brought together when out shopping this week. The Brazilian was left in Milan by coach Jose Mourinho as the rest of the squad travelled to Cyprus for the game against Anorthosis.

Adriano used the free time to go and spend some of the big bucks he earns at the club and thus he went into the phone dealer in Milan.

The hit-man was there to shop for a €4,800 luxury mobile phone but he could never have immagined who he would bump into.

Il Giornale claims Roberto Mancini was in the shop sitting down when Adriano walked in to browse for his new mobile.

However, neither player nor coach said hello and they both looked away and ignored each other leaving the shop staff baffled.

The Milan store is not big and the Italian and Brazilian came face to face but both were ice cold and showed little emotion.

Reports suggest Adriano bought the top model phone which costs €10,000 and that was the only reason which made him smile as he seemed annoyed up until that point.

The striker is likely to be in the squad for the game against Udinese this weekend.

Inter To Tie Up Thiago Silva Deal?

Inter are on the verge of landing Fluminense defender Thiago Silva according to Tuttomercatoweb.com...

The Nerazzurri have been paying close attention to the 24-year-old Brazilian and he could arrive sooner than later.

Tuttomercatoweb claims the stopper will arrive at San Siro in January as both Inter and Fluminense are on the verge of striking a deal.

Thiago was close to joining Fiorentina in the summer but the move fizzled out. Milan and Juventus are also interested but it seems as if Jose Mourinho has beaten his bitter rivals to landing his man.

Inter's directors are set to meet up with the player's agent Paulo Tonietto and a deal is likely to be struck soon.

Silva is strong, powerful and has quick feet as well as plenty of skill. The Nerazzurri are keen on bringing youth into the team as well as some pace at the back.

Meanwhile Mourinho's side take on Udinese on Sunday and they will be hoping to keep up the pace in Serie A.

Cesar Demands Udinese Win

Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar insists a win against Udinese is necessary in order to show Serie A that Inter are not taking their foot off the gas following their shambles show against Anorthosis in the Champions League on Tuesday...

Inter have been stumbling recently. They just about escaped from Reggio Calabria with maximum points last week but then they were forced to scrap for a point in Europe.

Cesar is looking ahead to the Nerazzurri's next appointment with high-flying Udinese and he believes only a win will do.

"We have to continue what we are doing like we did against Roma where we played very well and everything went good for us," Cesar told Sky Sport Italia.

"We have to win but not to show people anything as we have nothing to prove. The only thing that happens when things go bad are the comparisons between [Robero] Mancini and [Jose] Mourinho.

"Udinese have quick players and they are doing very well. I think [Antonio] Di Natale could make the difference. He is a great player and his shooting is great."

Inter are level on points with the Friulani and one behind league leaders Milan. Anything less than a win could see the gap between the Nerazzurri and their bitter cousins from across town increase.

It's the journalists that keep talking about Mancio so he's bound to get pissed. Funny how he was taking shots at the SKY reporter though.

Anyway.. We sit highest on the table with probably the worst performances out of the top 6 teams. Hopefully top gear is a level above everyone else, then.

After watching the highlights, Samuel appeared to have a top game while Quaresma and Ibra featured in about one highlight so imagine they were scarce all day. And Cruz saves us again.. champion!! And finally our bogey over Udinese is over! Next Palermo away who just lost to Torino and Nocerino got sent off so if we get the win, we'll have great momentum for the game against the cheats/scumbags/frauds/imposters/.

Viola Revive Interest In Burdisso - Reports

Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino will try to secure the signing of Argentine Nicolás Burdisso next January, according to La Nazione.

Burdisso was already linked with the Florence outfit this summer, but Inter boss José Mourinho eventually opted to pull the plug on the transfer, to ensure he had adequate cover after the defensive injury crisis that struck the Beneamata last August.

But his dire performance in the Champions League game with Anorthosis Famagusta this week might push the Portuguese boss to sanction a move in the winter session of the Calciomercato.

And Florence-based newspaper La Nazione reports this morning that the Gigliati are eager to bolster their back-line, particularly if they manage to perform a miracle and make the knock-out phase of the Champions League.

Manuel Da Costa and Manuel Pasqual are allegedly heading for the exit door and Fiorentina are expected to reel in one or two new faces in their bid to mount a serious title challenge.

Atletico Paranaense defender Danilo is reportedly a target for Corvino, but the transfer guru seems also intent on knocking on the Nerazzurri’s door again to capture Burdisso.

Nonetheless, Inter will obviously part company with the Argentine international only if they will be able to find a valid replacement.

As for the front line, it is highly likely that either Giampaolo Pazzini or Daniel Osvaldo will leave the Stadio Franchi on loan in the new year.
