Mourinho Cuts Short Holiday For Lampard
According to the latest reports, Jose Mourinho has come back early from holiday in order to personally lead Inter’s pursuit of Frank Lampard.


Lampard is hugely admired by new Inter boss Jose Mourinho, who of course coached him at Chelsea, and ‘The Special One’ has tagged the midfielder as his primary summer transfer target.

The 30-year-old’s future in West London has been in doubt for most of the past season, as having still yet to sign a new contract at the club, he is said to be strongly considering a new experience in a foreign league.

Mourinho is evidently more than just a little bit eager to convince his former charge to join him in Milan.

The Sun is reporting that Mourinho arrived in Milan's Malpensa airport last night, a full five days before he was scheduled back from Portugal.

According to the report, the Special One will travel to London tomorrow to personally meet with Lampard and his club with an improved offer than the £6.6million which was rejected by Chelsea last week.

Is this good news or bad news?Personally,i would like to see him leave no doubt....But considering the fact that we are making no headway for quaresma and also the fact that he is ready to do anything to train under mou, may be we should keep him for one more year as a back up

Inter veteran Luis Figo is reportedly in the frame to take the Portuguese national team hot seat.

Luiz Felipe Scolari vacated the Portugal bench to join Chelsea after his side exited Euro 2008 at the quarter-final stage following a 3-2 defeat against Germany.

Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz and Brazilian boss Zico have been suggested as candidates, but it seems that Figo may have a chance of a surprise appointment.
