MILAN - Mario Balotelli has signed a new contract with F.C. Internazionale that ties him to the club until 30 June August 2011. The documents were registered at the Italian Football League's offices this morning.
Rising star Balotelli, who turns 18 years old on 12 August, joined the Nerazzurri in the summer of 2006. He played for Inter's Under-17 and Under-19 teams before joining the first team for the second half of the 2007/08 Scudetto-winning season.

Next week Inter will make their official offers for Ricardo Carvalho, Frank Lampard and Amantino Mancini.
Ever since Jose Mourinho took charge there has been endless newspaper talk over their transfer campaign, but no real action as yet.
That is set to change in the next few days, as meetings with both Chelsea and Roma representatives have been lined up.
It is reported in the Gazzetta dello Sport today that it is crunch time for Lampard, who is expected to tell the Stamford Bridge side he is not renewing his contract.
As it expires in 2009, under FIFA’s Article 17 ruling he could be available for just £7m, but as a gesture of good will Inter are prepared to pay a little more.
This is because 30-year-old Lampard does not wish to leave Chelsea on bad terms, especially with the scandal whipped up by Cristiano Ronaldo over at Manchester United.
There are even some suggestions the England midfielder has changed his mind and wants to remain close to his family.
In that case, the Nerazzurri are also preparing a substantial £15m bid for Mourinho’s protégé Ricardo Carvalho so at least one of the Chelsea stars will come to San Siro.
The defender only moved to London in order to work with Mourinho again after their time together at Porto, but with Portugal Coach Luiz Felipe Scolari taking over in London, he may find his loyalties split.
In fact, Italian newspapers suggest the bid is also an incentive for Scolari to talk Lampard into leaving rather than losing Carvalho.
The negotiations over Amantino Mancini are considerably more straightforward, as Roma have already given their consent for Inter to talk directly to the player.
A four-year contract worth £2.5m per season is drawn up and ready to sign, but the only issue is over cash or players to complete the move.
The Giallorossi would prefer £10m in hard cash and are only interested in Julio Cruz or Pele as counterparts, neither of which Inter want to release.

New Manchester City boss Mark Hughes is facing a busy summer in the transfer market with Liverpool’s Yossi Benayoun and Inter’s Dejan Stankovic reportedly at the top of his shopping list.
Hughes, who took over from Sven Goran Eriksson, at the club recently is keen to rebuild the side as he looks to improve on last season’s ninth place Premiershit finish.
The Welshman is reportedly interested in signing Liverpool’s Benayoun who has failed to hold down a regular place in the starting line up since his transfer from West Ham.
Benayoun, 28, cost the Reds £5 million last summer but made only 15 league starts for Liverfekkin'wankscum last season and is considered to be surplus to requirements at Anfield as manager Rafael Benitez seeks to raise funds for his own summer spending spree.
Liverfekkin'wankscum are believed to want a fee of around £6 million for their Israeli frontman, although Hughes may face competition from Portsmouth who are also reportedly interested in signing Benayoun.
Dejan Stankovic, meanwhile, is another player attracting Hughes’s interest. The Serbian has been at Inter since 2004, however he has reportedly been told by new manager Jose Mourinho that he can leave the club.
The midfielder is likely to cost somewhere in the region of £8 million but would bring some grit and a wealth of experience with him should he make the move to Manchester.
He has forged a successful career in Italy, playing for Lazio and Inter and collecting four Scudetto titles and a Cup Winners Cup medal along the way. Stankovic is also the captain of his country, Serbia, and has 73 international caps to his name.

Mourinho Counting On Adriano

Inter coach Jose Mourinho considers Brazilian striker Adriano an important part of his new squad, as he wants a player who's able to keep hold of the ball up front.
Last week Inter coach Jose Mourinho traveled to South America to watch the World Cup qualifying match between Brazil and Argentina (which finished 0-0) to watch striker Adriano.
He was not able to get a hold of the player and talk to him personally, but the two did have a phone conversation in which the coach told Adriano that his recovery only depends on him and his will to become the player he once was again.
His performance in the game itself wasn't brilliant, but at least he seemed to be in a good physical shape. Mourinho was especially pleased with the way Adriano kept the ball up and protected it with his body. He said that with that physique it will be very hard for anyone to rob him of the ball.
It seems the Portuguese coach thinks of Adriano as his 'new' Didier Drogba, the Chelsea star he worked with during his time at Stamford Bridge. Mourinho always likes to have strikers in his squad who are able to keep the ball up and allow the whole team to move up the pitch.
Another hint that the coach will count on Adriano is that he already tried to bring the Brazilian to Chelsea when he still wasn't the well-known player he became with Inter.
