Crespo: Ancelotti Better Than Mourinho

Inter striker Hernan Crespo believes Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti is a better coach than Jose Mourinho, leading to reports suggesting he may re-join the Rossoneri in January...

The Argentine hit-man is not too pleased with the way he has been left to rot on the San Siro bench by his coach. Crespo was also left out of the Champions League list by the 'Special One' and that made things worse.

The former Milan striker has revealed that he prefers Ancelotti as a coach, leading to speculation that he may join the club in January.

"Mourinho? He is a good coach and I like him," Crespo told La Gazzetta Dello Sport.

"However, I wouldn't say he is an ideal coach, everyone knows my ideal coach is Ancelotti. I have a great feeling with him both on and off the pitch. I like the way he confronts situations and the way he treats players after a win or a loss."

The striker has warned his club that he will walk out on them if he doesn't get a look-in with the first team.

"I want to play football but if that doesn't happen then I may leave in January. I am 33 and I need to play, if not I will find other solutions," added Crespo.

"I am not annoyed with the club but I believe certain situations could have been deal with better."

Crespo had the chance to join either Sampdoria or Roma in the summer but he decided to take a risk and stay with Inter, well aware that chances would be limited.

Reports are rife with speculation that he may move back to Milan in January following his revealtion for his Ancelotti appreciation.

Mourinho To Raid Real Madrid In January - Reports

Jose Mourinho is planning to raid the Real Madrid dressing room in an attempt to smash and grab his way to Pepe and Gonzalo Higuain as late Christmas presents this January, according to El Mundo Deportivo...

The Portuguese coach is a big admirer of the defender and, given Inter's constant injury problems at the back, Pepe will be the right man to offer the 'Special One' appropriate cover when things go wrong.

Nelson Rivas has been ruled out for four months with a nasty cruciate ligament injury and the coach is looking at the Real Madrid man as an interim replacement.

The 25-year-old will add the youth and freshness needed at San Siro and he may arrive as soon as the new year if Nerazzurri president Massimo Moratti continues feeding Mourinho with blank cheques.

Higuain is also on the 'Special' hit list as Inter are looking to take full advantage of the striker's situation at the club.

Real coach Bernd Shuster has hardly used the Argentina forward and it is unlikely he will get regular football in the Bernabeu, fuelling speculation that he will join the Beneamata in an attempt to get his stalling career revved up.

A double swoop from the former Porto coach is likely as he continues to build a squad capable enough of bringing home the Champions League.

Inter Plan Crespo - Banega Swap Deal - Reports

Inter are planning a swap deal which will see Hernan Crespo move to Valencia with Eva Banega, who is on loan at Atletico, head to San Siro, according to Sportmediaset...

The Argentine striker has been left to rot on the bench by Jose Mourinho and he is desperate for some first team action.

Crespo has even warned that he may walk out on the club if he doesn't play. Valencia may provide the answer to the striker's woes as, according to Sportmediaset, the Spanish giants have made enquiries for the Argentine hit-man.

Argentina legend Diego Maradona has even advised Inter chief Massimo Moratti to go through with the deal. Banega is one of the hottest midfielder's around and he would be a welcome addition to the Nerazzurri.

The deal will see Crespo head to the Mestalla with Inter paying the Spanish side €12m and take Banega to San Siro.

The move depends on whether the striker would like the idea of moving to La Liga. Roma are also interested in the former Lazio man but that may not happen as the Beneamata are not keen on allowing one of their players to move to a direct Scudetto rival.

Steaua expect Radoi sale - Romanian set to join Inter

Steaua Bucharest have confirmed that they expect star defender Mirel Radoi to join Inter Milan in January.

The Italian champions almost signed Radoi in August, but just when he seemed set to sign on loan the move failed to materialise.

However, Steaua president Gigu Becali has confirmed the deal will go through during the winter transfer period.

"This summer the negotiations were started on the basis of £13million and it hasn't been closed," said Becali.

"But I know how Jose Mourinho [Inter coach] sees football and I am sure he will be asking his officials for Radoi again.

"I think Mirel will go to Inter in the winter break or possibly next summer.

"He has given a good impression to Mourinho and now everything is on the player, if he wants to go to Italy me must play well and do good in the Champions League.

"How much will he cost? Between £9 and £11million."

Mourinho watched the World Cup qualifier between Romania and France over the weekend and it was believed Radoi was his main point of interest.

Vieira denies Actovegin use - France midfielder rejects drug claims

Patrick Vieira has rejected claims that he used the drug Actovegin in a bid to speed up the recovery from his summer thigh injury.

The France international did not feature during a dismal Euro 2008 campaign as Raymond Domenech's side crashed out at the group stage.

Actovegin is not available in France, but is on the market elsewhere in Europe, including Germany, Italy and the United Kingdom.

Inter Milan midfielder Vieira confirmed he considered several options for treatment, but eventually decided to let nature take its course.

The former Arsenal ace has been left angry at suggestions he was looking to gain an unfair advantage and insists his conscience is clear.

He told L'Equipe: "I'm upset. This is not how I have managed 15 years of my career.

"I asked about several options for treatment. I received proposals from each and I judged which one would help me heal quickest. I never took anything.

"Once again, I am being given a trial for something that did not happen.

"I have done nothing banned or illegal and I can continue without problems looking into the mirror."
