depending on players, 4-4-2 is my fav formation and can work well if we do target some big wingers. but when we cant play the 4-4-2, we may need that commanding centre midefielder. either way, we need one, who it will be still remains a secret. but im sure, that one will be announced after the euro.

Paolillo opens 2008 Workshop

PORTOFINO (GENOA) - Speaking at last night's 2008 Workshop welcome dinner, Inter's managing director Ernesto Paolillo explained the impact new coach José Mourinho will have on the club.

"As a personality Mourinho certainly attracts more attention Mancini - in Italy, but most of all abroad. And this means greater value for the sponsors and a greater return on their investment.

"Mourinho is a fantastic person who has impressed me not only for his great professionalism and meticulosity, but also for his great attention towards the club, including the relationships with the sponsors."

Paolillo added that the relationship between the Portuguese coach and president Moratti "won't be a problem because two extremely intelligent people who love their work can always find great solutions."

As for Ibrahimovic, Paolillo hopes the Swedish striker won't need surgery on his knee. "He needs time to get back in top form," he said. "We knew the sacrifice he had to make for this European Championship but he will have time to rest after and let's hope that the inflammation goes down without the need for any operation."

Paolillo preferred not to comment on Inter's summer transfer targets. "We have a great professional in Branca. He's the person who has to do the whole of the first part of the negotiations. So if Branca has said that we're interested in Roma's Mancini, it's the truth."

Lampard Is Number One Target - Moratti
Inter president Massimo Moratti admits that Frank Lampard is their number one target and he has closed the door on Ricardo Quaresma by claiming his price tag is "Absurd".

The Nerazzurri are currently strengthening their side ahead of next season's Champions League challenge. Moratti is hoping Jose Mourinho builds a squad capable of achieving glory in Europe and he admits that Frank Lampard will be the key to obtaining the success he is looking for.

Inter President Massimo Moratti has given an update on his plans in the transfer market and the futures of Mario Balotelli and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Jose Mourinho has arrived at San Siro and he is expected to make a number of changes to the squad that dominated Italy under Roberto Mancini’s command.

The arrival of the Portuguese tactician has generated an atmosphere of excitement in Milan and season ticket sales are up 30 per cent from this time last year.

Inter could enter Ronaldo race

Reports in Spain suggest that Inter could challenge Real Madrid in the battle to sign Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

The Portuguese ace has developed from a precocious talent to arguably the world’s greatest player at Manchester United, but he has openly flirted with Real Madrid this summer.

After weeks of denying any prospect of his sale, sources suggest that the Old Trafford outfit are facing up to the idea of losing Ronaldo.

While Real are in pole position, El Mundo Deportivo believes that Inter could be ready to enter the bidding thanks to the arrival of Jose Mourinho, who shares agent Jorge Mendes with Ronaldo.

The Nerazzurri would be outsiders to clinch the deal, but Ronaldo would surely relish the chance to work with Mourinho.

Inter are expected to make three major signings this summer as they look to translate Italian supremacy into European domination next term.

Mourinho Ready To Raid Valencia
Inter are preparing to launch a €30m mega bid to try and lure Valencia winger David Silva away from the Mestalla and towards the San Siro according to reports in Italy.

The Nerazzurri are currently in the process of dealing for Roma's Amantino Mancini. However, if that move fails to materialise then Jose Mourinho will swoop for Silva as an alternative.

The former Chelsea coach is keen on on the Los Che winger and he is planning to use him on the left with Ricardo Quaresma out on the right if the Porto player arrives in Milan.

Silva has been impressive for Valencia and he has attracted interest from several major European teams.

Corriere Dello Sport claims that Los Che are demanding no less than €35m but Inter are confident that they can swoop for around €30m.

However, it will not be easy to prize the player away as Liverfekkin'wankscum had their offer turned down last year. Barcelona also had their €25m bid rejected last month after Begiristain tried to land the player.

The Valencia fans have also become unhappy with the club and they have launched an online petition to stop Los Che from selling their prized assets.

Valencia have no choice but to sell as they need a massive financial injection to help curb their debts.
