Agent Admits Ibra–Eto’o Swap Deal
The agent of Zlatan Ibrahimovic has admitted that there is a real possibility that his client could move to Barcelona in a swap deal involving Samuel Eto’o.

Ibrahimovic has been heavily linked with a move to Barcelona over the past week or so, but until now there was nothing serious to suggest that the reports were merely paper talk and speculation.

However now the Swede’s agent Mino Raiola has sensationally revealed that plans are in place to arrange a deal that would see his client move to Catalonia in exchange for Cameroon hitman Samuel Eto’o.

"The possibility that Ibrahimovic will go to Barcelona to replace Eto'o is real," stated Raiola.

"But we must reach agreement with the clubs.

“And if Inter can find an agreement with Barcelona, then we'll evaluate the proposal of the Blaugrana."

Ibrahimovic recently stated in the press that he would like to play in either Spain or England in the coming years, while Eto’o is also thought to want a new challenge abroad, having spent his whole professional career in Spain since 1996, with the last four years at Barca.

it maybe a bit disrespectful sacking mancini like moratti did. but we are definently not taking a step back with the arrival of mourinho. if anything we are set for a bright season next yr.

Moratti: Mancio divorce necessary

Inter President Massimo Moratti has hit back at Roberto Mancini, who claims his sacking was unfair.

Mancini received his marching orders on Thursday despite leading Inter to three consecutive Scudetti.

The 43-year-old tactician believes he was fired for the wrong reasons and is seeking legal advice.

Moratti, however, stands by his decision, which was based on Mancini's comments after Inter's elimination from the Champions League in March.

Well Frank, I personally don't think we need another striker. First, we must choose who we're going to keep out of Ibra, Cruz, Adriano, Crespo, Suazo and Balotelli. I wouldn't mind letting go of Crespo and keeping the other 5 IF we get world class signings in midfield where we really need them the most. We really must look to strengthen the wings first and I'd rather every cent we have be spent on those positions then buying a stiker we don't NEED.

However, if we've filled these positions and we have a little change left over, then why not.

Luis Figo claims Internazionale have told him the club will be appointing Jose Mourinho as the new coach.

Inter confirmed the departure of Roberto Mancini on Thursday and Mourinho is widely predicted to be taking over at Giuseppe Meazza.

Reports have claimed that the former Chelsea manager met Inter president Massimo Moratti in Paris on Friday to discuss potential signings.

Figo has now revealed that he is expecting his fellow Portuguese to be appointed as Inter coach and has backed Mourinho to win the UEFA Champions League.

"By now everyone knows that Mourinho is coming to Inter, the club have informed me of this too," he told O Jogo.

"With the Nerazzurri, Mourinho can win the Champions League. However, I still haven't spoken to him yet."

Hope resurfaces

Figo also admits that the imminent appointment of Mourinho is likely to persuade him to stay with the Serie A champions for another season.

He added: "Whenever there's a change of coach hope always resurfaces for those who haven't played very much.

"I still don't know where I'm going to play. My contract ends now in May, but I hope it's at Inter.

"I'm thinking about staying on one more year."

I hope figo leaves....He is 35 and being a winger he can't run up and down the wings for 90 mintues....Its time he went and we got someone younger....

And hopefully moratti gets some sense and give mourinho full control rather than keeping all his favorite players....

MT,are you serious...Cruz should be sold??No way.....He is the only guy who always shuts his mouth and goes about doing his job....I would definitely keep ibra,cruz and balotelli......The others can go for all i care.....

Dejan,thats exactly what i meant....We have been linked with deco,lampard and eto'o....I am not saying they would be bad signings but we really need wingers since mou likes playing with wingers.....I see him playing a 4-2-2 or 4-3-3 and wingers are a must......And to be fair we have not a single world class winger.....
