Inter: Mourinho vuole Quaresma



Mancini o Mourinho? L'amletico dubbio che affligge Moratti verrà risolto nelle prossime ore. Gli ultimi indizi fanno pendere la panchina nerazzurra dalla parte del tecnico portoghese. L'edizione odierna del quotidiano O Jogo riporta in prima pagina una notizia di mercato: su esplicita richiesta di Mourinho, l'Inter avrebbe offerto 30 milioni di euro per Ricardo Quaresma. Il Porto non sembra disposto a scendere dalla richiesta di 40 milioni, ma potrebbe essere costretto ad abbassare le proprie pretese. Nonostante la vittoria del campionato, il club lusitano potrebbe essere escluso dalla prossima Champions League a vantaggio del Benfica per la vicenda delle intercettazioni arbitrali, che gli è già costata 6 punti di penalizzazione.

Tornando all'Inter, vengono confermati gli altri due grandi obiettivi per rinforzare il centrocampo: Lampard e Deco. Quest'ultimo avrebbe ricevuto anche un'offerta del Chelsea. Il tabloid britannico Daily Mirror conferma che Mourinho verrà annunciato come nuovo allenatore dell'Inter entro le prossime 48 ore: il primo acquisto della sua 'era' sarà Lampard.

Inter are 'halfway to Jose'

Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho is edging towards the Inter bench, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Despite retaining the Scudetto, Roberto Mancini’s future at San Siro is uncertain and there is a widespread belief that he will quit the club this summer.

Since threatening to resign back in March, Mancio’s position with the Beneamata seems to have been compromised.

Although President Massimo Moratti has insisted that he wants to keep hold of Mancini, La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that he has nearly completed talks with Mourinho.

The former Chelsea Coach is reportedly set to pocket around £5m per season in a four-year deal and is nearly ready to put pen to paper.

Given Mancio’s tempestuous relationship with several faces in Inter’s dressing room, Mourinho may be welcomed with open arms and Luis Figo has suggested that he will only play next season if the coaching switch is made.

There are also whispers that Mancini is starting to make plans away from San Siro.

Last week there were reports that Mancini had applied to succeed Avram Grant at Chelsea, but was snubbed by the Premiershit giants.

Reports: Mancini Out, Mourinho In
There are widespread reports throughout Italy that this afternoon’s meeting between Roberto Mancini and Massimo Moratti ended after just 20 minutes, with the outcome being that Mancini has left San Siro, to be replaced by Jose Mourinho.

Speculation has been rife over the past 48 hours that Mancini would be leaving Inter, and indeed yesterday Portuguese newspaper A Bola claimed that President Massimo Moratti had already done the deal for Jose Mourinho to replace the tactician.

Mancini and Moratti arranged a meeting this afternoon at 17:00 to sort out the coach's future, but the meeting had lasted just over 20 minutes until Mancini walked out of a private residence in Milan and refused to comment on the outcome.

There are now widespread reports that the pair have mutually agreed to rescind Mancio's contract, and that Mourinho will be his immediate replacement.

The Special One, who has been out of work since leaving Chelsea last September, is reported to be in Portugal this afternoon finalising personal terms over his contract with Inter director Marco Branca.

The Portuguese daily Diario de Noticias adds to this that Mourinho has been taking private Italian lessons for the past five months as he wants to present himself better to the press, players and fans.

There has been no official confirmation of these reports as of yet, but it is likely that there will some news very soon.
