Mou and the porto coach are so far ahead in front of the rest is not funny. i am talking about fisical preparation, our players are tired mentally and fisically and the more they train the worst they get by falling to bits .last year mou play all season with 14 players ,and having them all the time fit and fresh ,once a player or any sportman o sport animal that reich is peak form only need little xrcise to mantain the form ,them 2 coaches know that and thats why are ahead of the rest our players are so jaded that cannot see from post to post of the gollie from few metres. i dont get hany hopes to win anything this year they are all over the fucking hill

Cool, Briz, sounds good fair play to ya, will check out it.
Lomba, no he didn't post anywhere, last active just means the last time Dejan-Stankovic was last logged in to the forums on that date. I thought maybe he could of PM'd one of you lads.
no maro you wrong mancini at the end of the season had is players strugling . IF OUR PLAYERS HAD TO DEAL WITH THE WORLD CUP WHY CHELSEA ,real barca never have the same problem
I don't think we can compare our situation to Chelsea and Barca. We have been affected by a combination of things and its not entirely Benitez's fault
First, we played more games last season that both Chelsea and Barca and neither of these clubs had a season like we did. Second, both teams invested in the market and got new players while we sold Balo to City and never replaced him. Third, we have changed coach and we definitely don't have the motivation of last season. Then we had won nothing while now we have won everything. Finally, the form of our most important players like Maicon, Sneijder, Pandev and Milito has been terrible. Believe me, Barca aren't doing that good as well. Its Messi who is dragging them along and the mid table Spanish teams aren't as strong as the Italian counterpart. I don't even have to talk about EPL.
Real & Barca has an average age of 24-25 whereas ours is somewhere around 30. That in itself is already reason enough to say Benitez is not responsable. Chelsea have the advantage that they didnt change coach, therefore their body is used to the training methods. Mourinho last year used practically 14 players so after the extremely long season we had, the WC, early preparation for the 2 Supercups and relatively old age, together with a new training schedule....summing that all up gives you enough reasons to blame. Benitez is part of the problem, but only a very small part. Oh I forgot to mention that many of our players of a history of injuries too..
Wesley Sneijder has assured fans he will overcome the anaemia and play the derby on Sunday, but urged support “for us and Rafa Benitez.”
The Inter midfielder fainted during the half-time break of last week’s 1-1 draw with Brescia and has been diagnosed with anaemia.
He was rested against Lecce midweek, but told fans on his Twitter and Facebook pages that he will be ready to face Milan and revive Inter’s flagging fortunes.
“When will overcome this moment of weakness I'll be at the best of my condition, the break of yesterday helped me to relax and reflect.
“We are in trouble, but there are alibis. We come from a fantastic season that no one fan will ever forget.
“True fans don't whistle their players even in times of difficulty. In the derby I won't miss because it will be like my debut, as it was last year. I’ll never forget it.
“I'm recovering, we need your support, both us and Mr. Benitez. He's a great coach, just as it was Mourinho.
“Jose Mourinho is the past, the derby is the top of the season. We must think about present not past. So let's play!”
Frank ,Lomba stop the bullshit and tray to make a case ,there's no justification for a team like inter to put on the field anemic players. ANEMIA is not something that happen in 5 minutes . Dont know who is responsable but is something that in this time and age should never happen
Preview: AC Milan look to reassert derby dominance over Inter
Friday 12 November 2010 10:00
With the derby coming up this weekend, going top of the table for the first time in two years couldn't have come at a more timely moment for AC Milan.
The Rossoneri swept past Palermo in the midweek round, despite having to put up with the ever-so-fragile Alexandre Pato limping off again: just what is going on at the much-vaunted Milan Lab that they can't keep the Brazilian on the pitch for more than 20 minutes at a time?
And just when Filippo Inzaghi was feeling on top of the world, damaging knee ligaments means the end of the veteran’s season – and possibly his career at the club, unless Adriano Galliani takes pity on him.
Anyway, things could be worse: they could be Inter, who for once come into the Derby della Madonnina needing all the help they can from the Virgin Mary.
During Jose Mourinho’s time in charge there was only one team in town as the Nerazzurri lorded over their old rivals on three consecutive occasions – indeed, Milan haven't even scored in the last two encounters.
Those were the days when Inter fans strutted around with the air of mini-Mourinhos, checking their look in shop windows and generally feeling smug with life. Now that exuberance, that top-of-the-heap numero-uno aplomb seems lacking, replaced by something else.
Like the onset of winter, there is a chilling acknowledgement that the wildest, craziest affair they ever had will most likely never be repeated – never again will they hit the heights of ecstasy as they did not once but thrice in one season.
Just one tiny thrill would probably do before everyone hunkers down for another long Milanese winter – and if it doesn’t come on Sunday then it’s going to have to be the Club World Cup.
Rafa Benitez isn’t exactly titillating locals who are missing that bit of devilment - that wild, reckless streak Jose brought to every occasion and especially derby encounters.
After a draw at Lecce as pale as Wesley Sneijder with anaemia, all the Spaniard could muster was that his team were unlucky and that he expected more from his players.
Across town Massimiliano Allegri – in need of another haircut a mere two weeks after getting a neat back-and-sides – has been doing little to get the pulse racing either, claiming that the derby will not be decisive in determining the outcome of the title race.
Well, so what? Inter are there for the taking: at this stage of the campaign last season, they were top with eight points more and had scored double the amount of goals. Now even Napoli have overtaken them.
Of course, it matters little if the coaches fail to ratchet up a bit of tension in the manner Mou and Leonardo did last season and even Carlo Ancelotti before that. A derby is most often remembered by what the players do when they take centre stage.
It will be interesting to see how both sides react to what on paper seems a bit of a role-reversal where Milan are the mean and moody bullies, as witnessed by the way likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Rino Gattuso and Mathieu Flamini have been snarling their way through games of late.
Inter seem almost retiring in comparison, even if they still have few tasty competitors in the side such as Douglas Maicon, Lucio and Ivan Cordoba.
However, beware the wounded beast, as they say and the club’s medical staff are confident that Esteban Cambiasso will be fit to start while a few days' rest will hopefully have brought a bit of colour back to Sneijder’s cheeks.
One man who knows what it takes to win a Milan derby, having appeared in 56 of them, is Paolo Maldini. He believes that his old club won't have a better opportunity that this to put one over their cousins and strike a psychological blow by opening up a six-point gap.
The legendary defender is of the opinion that Milan are well equipped to win the league title, more so than progressing to the latter stages of the Champions League, so now is the time to seize the moment.
For their part Inter will feel that this is the ideal occasion to get their season up and running again – which could yet make for an stirring evening of strong passions at the San Siro.
Inter and Milan prepare for Derby Della Maddonina – Saturday 13 November 2010
As Inter and Milan get ready to square off in the 274th edition of the Derby Della Maddonina, things are markedly different this time around. For the first time since the Calciopoli era the Rossoneri head into this game ahead of their city rivals and now the onus is on them to prove their supremacy.
Inter have been dominant in this fixture in recent years, having won seven of the last 10 meetings between the Milanese giants, so the Diavolo definitely have a point to prove. The Rossoneri faithful have had a lot to endure from their city’s cousins of late, with Inter not only overhauling them in the number of Scudetti won but also having finally won the Champions League and in doing so becoming the first Italian team to win the treble.
As usual there are many sub-lots at play here and the return of Zlatan Ibrahimovic to face the team whom he guided to three championships is an obvious one. Ibra faced his fair amount of abuse when he took on the Nerazzurri in the colours of Barca so decking up in the red and black is sure to add that much more spite to the insults hurled from Curva Nord.
For Milan this game comes at the right time as Inter have been extremely patchy of late and the results against Brescia and Lecce will give the Rossoneri the belief they need to topple their city rivals. More importantly it also provides Massimiliano Allegri’s side the opportunity to consolidate their lead at the top and extend the gap from Inter to six points. Last season, Milan found themselves in a similar situation as with a game in hand they took on Inter only six points adrift of them, but a dogged display by the Nerazzurri saw them triumph and end the Rossoneri’s title hopes. Allegri will be keen to avoid such disappointment once again but statistics are truly not on Milan’s side. This will be the ‘home’ fixture for Inter and they have not been beaten in this tie for over five years and in fact since that loss, il Biscione have gone on to win every game till date.
Coach Rafa Benitez thus has a legacy to live up to that he will not want dashed in his first ever Milan derby. The jury is still largely out on Benitez following Jose Mourinho’s historic achievements at the club and a defeat in the Derby Della Maddonina may prove to be extremely costly for the Spaniard. Despite the fact that Inter have been plagued with recurring injuries to their squad, their performances in the league have been mediocre to say the least. The team has failed to score more than one goal in a game since the 4-0 thrashing of Bari in Week 4 and have netted only 13 times this season. The major problem has not been Benitez’s managerial abilities as it has been the blunt displays of their strikers. Inter are enjoying a lot more possession and creating more chances this term than under Mourinho but are failing to convert them and get the results.
Milan also have their fair share of sceptics who are yet to be convinced of the team’s ability to link their strike force together with the rest of the side. In the previous two games against Bari and Palermo, the Rossoneri defence showed signs of strain but finally managed to hold firm. The forward department however, is proving to be worth its salt as Ibrahimovic has regained his scoring touch that he had seemingly lost in Spain. ‘Ibracadabra’ will be a real menace for Inter especially as Walter Samuel will be missing through injury. Clarence Seedorf and Gennaro Gattuso have also turned back the years this season and they are proving to be invaluable for the Diavolo midfield.
The game with Palermo however, came at a price as Alexandre Pato and Filippo Inzaghi suffered injuries that rule them out of the derby and the latter’s season has come to an early end. Andrea Pirlo picked up a thigh strain and he is a doubt for the game too. Allegri will possibly rely on Kevin Prince Boateng to fill in for Pirlo should he miss out while Ronaldinho might find himself back in the starting line-up as well. For Inter there is finally some good news on the injury front as Esteban Cambiasso, Julio Cesar and Wesley Sneijder returned to full training on Friday. Benitez will still miss out on the services of Maicon, Thiago Motta, Sulley Muntari and McDonald Mariga.
There is a lot riding on this game for both the sides and they will be keen to avoid defeat. We have been treated to some spectacular encounters between these two of late and hopefully the will to win overcomes the fear of losing and we enjoy a true ‘Mother of All Derbies’ come Sunday night.
