besides the italian newspapers, it is the whole vibe you get from the team, its the same shit that happened with kaka'. leonardo said a few days back that he 'hopes pirlo stays', its the same stuff he said about kaka'. then they're asking everybody (zambrotta, antonini, abbiati) about what they think of pirlo. pirlo isn't talking to the media. add to the fact that braida is in brazil negotiating for hernanes, who seems to be in the same mold as pirlo but makes some quality runs from the midfield. put it all together and you can make a solid conclusion.

i think they're keeping it on the down low until we secure the right price for hernanes, if sao paolo see that we've got 18m for pirlo, they'll ask us for more etc. so once we secure hernanes, then pirlo's departure will be made official. thats what i think atleast.

in all fairness, leonardo's new philosophy of running, passing and attacking can't be built around a slow-tempo player like pirlo. pirlo is amazing, but he dictates the tempo, and hes not dynamic enough to suit a high tempo game. i hope our midfield line will look like seedorf-gattuso-hernanes.

i also hope that borriello pulls through for us, it will be awesome to see a youth player make the grade after so long.

they said that Pirlo has been leaving for quite some time an the reason they are skimping on the money is that we will offer upto €30mil for Hernanes who will become a almost linchpin for the new team, if we can get him and a striker i think we will be heading in the right direction

Yeah, you're possibly right...at this point it appears like Pirlo's departure hinges on whether we can get Hernanes. My sentiments exactly SP; Hernanes and a striker should somewhat compensate for Kaka's sale. From whatever I've seen of Hernanes, he seems to be more like an upgrade of Seedorf (good Seedorf, not the poor imitation we saw last season)

Adebayor waiting for Milan?

It’s believed Emmanuel Adebayor is delaying his £25m Manchester City move in the hope Milan will make a last-minute offer. The 25-year-old Arsenal striker was close to joining the Rossoneri in January, but was considered too expensive and the deal faltered.

Now the Gunners have agreed a £25m switch with City and he still needs to go through a medical, but the Togo international has not yet signed on the dotted line. According to The Sun, Adebayor is using Manchester City as bait to force Milan’s hand for the move he really wants.

Vice-President Adriano Galliani has confirmed the Italians need a powerful centre-forward for the team, but talks with Sevilla for Luis Fabiano have “hit a dead end.â€

Inter get Lucio who many feel is overrated; in my opinion he's one of the top 10, if not 5, CBs in the world. Excellent in the air, as technically sound as to expect of a Brazilian defender and fast enough to overcome any of his deficiencies in any case. Sort of like an experienced Thiago Silva.
So thats 6 Brazilians in Inter, 6 (or is it 7?) in Roma and 3 in Juventus; and they call us the Brazilian NT (I know we've still got 4 but it doesn't look too bad compared to the other top teams).

Actually, I think Mancini would be a very good option for you guys - or for us, indeed - since I'm pretty sure someone will get him on loan and you know he'd do a job for you in a 4-3-3 or in whatever shape we're going to play this season.
