sometimes i don't get emerson. just watch where he moves when gattuso is passing through the midfield. he just has a strolls through the park with no purpose and short passing options for the midfielder.

catania hits the post, then kaka' hits the post. we're playing some fantastic stuff right now. at a real good tempo. thats the main thing, we're moving the ball much faster than beofre.

we need to stop going up the flank and tell the strikers to drop back in front of the defense to receive the ball.

when shevchenko isnt supposed to shoot he shoots , and when hes supposed to shoot he passes. hes come back with dyslexia.

what an intresting half that was, no goals so far but an attack at running pace and no walking!!!

although iv said it once it was never a yellow for Pato, there was clear contact between him and the defender, was not a penalty or a foul of any kind as the defender won the ball but it was like an impact collision where pato couldnt help going over, and even if it was a foul it was out of the area so whats the problem? why couldnt he have just played on?

i agree SP, the yellow was harsh.

but the last 20 mins of the half were horrible. we started great, but then lost everything. the front 3 stopped moving, even with all the pressure by the midfielders on our defense when we have possession.

kaka' should drop back 10 odd yards and start collecting the ball sooner.

that's some crazy stuff, rob -- seedorf is to blame for kaka's problems. because they have such poor understanding together. lol.

anyway, i am pulling my hair out here. what the hell was emerson doing on the pitch and what the hell is favalli doing on it now? this is inexcusable and unforgivable. i want carlo fired even if we win 6-0.

Pirlo blames lazy Milan

Andrea Pirlo added to the tension at Milan by accusing his teammates of not providing enough movement off the ball.

The Rossoneri have been struggling badly of late with draws at Lecce, Torino and Portsmouth before two straight defeats against Palermo and Lazio.

Ironically, the team had been performing better when star midfielder Pirlo was out injured, but the World Cup winner insists his return after a two-month lay-off is not to blame for the downturn.

we haven't had one decent win all season. besides the game we won 4-1 vs. lazio, we've struggled in most of our games.

too much passing between the midfield 3 is really choking our chances of playing some direct football. most of our shots today were from outside the box and they werent challenging the gk at all.

im very disappointed in ancelotti, but i'm not going to judge our season so early. but if we dont significantly improve our game play at the end of the season, i think we should bring rijkaard in. he's just waiting for carlo to leave.

carlo can then go and coach the ivory coast in the world cup.

Knew that would bring you running out here tec. I was sort of kidding but Seedorf was the reason to get Kaka to play up front in the first place. And they did have perfect understanding; unfortunately this season Seedorf has kind of sucked and it has affected Kaka's game as well. There. I like the Dorf but I think its time he comes off the bench so he can put in 30 mins of quality instead of varying degrees of crappiness spread across the whole 90.

The game was pretty enjoyable and it was good to see Kaka nearing his best. Seeing Shevchenko miss chance after chance while keeping better prospects on the bench pissed me off to no end though. Flamini finally seems to be showing his Mattuso side (as opposed to his Flemerson? side).

Oh, and I also blame Seedorf for Gourcuff.

actually i can't disagree that he has sucked this season, but most of our players have. only rino is a consistent exception. maybe jankulovski too.

Galliani Looking To Sign Two Defenders For Milan In June
Milan transfer guru Adriano Galliani has admitted that the loss of Maldini at the end of the season will prompt him to acquire one or two new defenders.

Speaking after Milan’s triumph over Catania at the San Siro, vice president Adriano Galliani commented on his Milan squad, and the fact that there will need to be a few changes at the back for the Rossoneri at the end of the season.

There have been rumours that the likes of Thiago Silva, Sergio Ramos and Philippe Mexes may make the move too the San Siro club, but none have been confirmed by the Milan giants.

Retiring captain Paolo Maldini will not only leave a gap in the hearts of many calcio fans, but also a gaping hole in the Milan back line, which despite his 40 years of age, he still manages to cover.

After the Milan match Galliani revealed, “The defence is probably the position where age is an issue. Maldini will retire at the end of the season, and we will look to add one, or maybe two centre backs to the team.â€
