also, i would like to add that defensively we were very solid again last night. there was maybe one cross that resulted in a dangerous situation where ambro wasn't marking his man closely enough, but other than that, we contained them well and cassano wasn't a threat. a lot of credit must be given to the back four as well as ambro and flamini. even seedorf, as rubbish as he was in leading the plays, was solid on the defensive.

now, let's hope that we build on our two consecutive clean sheets.

Milan And Roma Agree Mexes Deal - Reports
Milan have agreed a deal with Roma for Philippe Mexes and he will arrive in January, according to Tuttosport.

The Rossoneri have been after the stopper for a while but the Giallorossi have been playing hard ball as they have resisted every attempt from the Milanese giants.

However, Roma appear to have eased off and a deal to sell Mexes to the San Siro-based club seems on the cards.

Tuttosport claims the Rossoneri will offer €10m and Marek Jankulovski for the French defender and he could arrive as early as January if I Lupi accept the deal.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani is in Rome trying to tie up a deal in order to land his man ahead of the others. Mexes will be given a four year deal and he will earn between €2.5m - €4m per season, therefore the whole transfer will rise to €20m.

The capital-based club are likely to give-in to Il Diavolo's temptations as they look to recover some of the money they spent in the summer.

The rumour has been rubbished by Milan, and looking at the "terms" its garbage from a Milan point of view, why the fuck would we sell Janku for Mexes?

yeah, it does look like more bollocks that they are making up for lack of better "news". we definitely need a defender of mexes' quality, but we also need an lb of janku's quality, so getting rid of one to have another makes no sense.
