boriello out of the derby so scheva to be supported up top by pato? I cant see pato by himself with R80 and kaka behind him, then again i just cant see scheva playing at all. WTF does carlo do?

when i posted the kaparo trident, i actually envisioned ronaldinho playing as a striker, not as a trequartista in support of pato.

for the backline, we have several acceptable options. one of them being the one i listed earlier, another one being bonera-kaladze-maldini-zambrotta. i don't agree that kaladze is any better than bonera, though, and he may be taller, but most of the aerial goals scored against us have been by men he was marking.

i definitely don't want to see sheva starting this one.

Bonera should definitely get the nod over Kaladze...we need a scrappy player against the likes of Zlatan and Adriano; Kaladze's height gives him no advantage whatsoever.
I'm pretty sure Sheva will start against Inter (if Borriello really cannot make it) and I understand Carletto's thinking there...but I hope he brings in R80 if Shevchenko disappoints (again).

On a side note, how good is the Serie A this year? Almost no easy fixtures anymore...Lazio, Napoli, Palermo, Genoa, Udinese, Samp, even Atalanta have the squads to compete with the bigger teams. Fine year we chose to concentrate on the Scudetto.

it is not only about height, it is also about strength, last time bonera markman Ibra he looked like little kid trying to out power a giant, it is not fair to him, and again bonera is not a flawless defender, mb better than kaladze(everyone is) but still not my pick to monitor Ibra or adriano.

technical speaking ancelotti keeps making stupid mistakes(same mistakes), featuring useless, out of form, out of future players, i think playing the likes of favalli, emerson, sheva over the likes of Antonini, Cardacio, ronaldinho is something beyond anyone with clear(or any) thinking, they scored the equalizer goal the moment Sheva got in, i'm not saying it was his fault(it was kaladze) but it is like god message from above, saying WTF.
